I have been a loyal Pacific BMW customer for over 15 years. Your prices have always been high, but I have valued the customer service quality and close proximity to my condo. After my experience with I years. Your prices have always been high, but I have valued the customer service quality and close proximity to my condo. After my experience with Inga Manukyan, my feelings have changed. She was condescending and rude, handling a somewhat traumatic situation with my loaner vehicle quite poorly. I was willing to pay over $3000 for my new X3 muffler which was installed, and another $1000 for annual maintenance…BUT I cannot believe that I was falsely made responsible for buying the loaner car a new $520 tire after a nail was found in the left rear tire. It is unclear whether I was even driving the car when the nail first entered the tire. The low pressure light went on sometime on Tuesday or Wednesday and I thought it was just due to the change in the weather temperature. But by yesterday morning, it showed that it was only the left rear tire, which is not normal for weather changes. I called Auto Club and a service technician came out and filled the tire to 41 PSI. The Pasadena technician said it was a very slow leak and he thought I could make it back to the dealership without a patch. By the time I reached Glendale, the tire pressure went down to 2 PSI and then 0. I took the loaner back immediately to the dealership, and was told I had to pay for a brand new tire on my loaner vehicle. This $520 charge seems unfair, especially considering that I have been overpaying for BMW service with you for so many years. I think this reflects poorly on your customer service, and would like that money refunded. If I had been dishonest and just patched the tire, no one would have known, but I was trying to do the right thing. Clearly, I am not a valued customer and I will no longer be taking my car to your dealership. Your former loyal customer, Victoria Durant More

Every time I have been in the past, I have received a diagnostic estimate which I signed when I brought the car in. This time, unbeknownst to me, the dealer apparently gave me an estimate for work to be diagnostic estimate which I signed when I brought the car in. This time, unbeknownst to me, the dealer apparently gave me an estimate for work to be done to sign but never explained to me that what he was asking me to sign was completely different from everything I had been given to sign in the past. Instead, it was an estimate for work to be done - within five minutes of arriving which raises serious questions about how he can even propose work so soon and without even seeing my vehicle - that the dealership would do. I then received an estimate the next day, which did not include the work listed in the initial work estimate. I approved the two items listed - about $2000 of work - on the estimate I received the next day. When I received the invoice two days later, I was gobsmacked. The invoice included work that the dealer said I approved when I first arrived. I had no idea that I had approved work when I initially came to the dealership as I was always given a diagnostic estimate in the past. Additionally, the initial work was not listed in the estimate I received the next day and the technician made no mention of it when we had a lengthy discussion about the work to be done on the car. I even asked him why the oil light was on and he said he didn’t know. However, he had apparently listed oil change in the initial estimate that I had unknowingly approved, as well as other items that I never would have approved had I known that this was not just a diagnostic approval. Why did he make no mention of this initial work? I also would not have agreed to both of the items in the estimate the next day if I had known that I had apparently already spent an additional almost $500 on oil and brake fluid. When I asked why the invoice was almost $500 more than I agreed to, he gleefully said you approved this initial work and kept repeating you signed the estimate. There was never an apology or sorry for the misunderstanding. I feel completely defrauded and taken advantage of by this dealership. I will never ever return to this dealership and I have already found a non- dealership near me that I will be using from now on. So, enjoy the almost $500 you got from me as you lost a loyal customer. You win. Congratulations. More
