Top notch team who listen and try their best to make you happy. They will work with you to ensure you are satisfied with all aspects of the car-buying experience. Special thanks to Mark Jr, Mark Sr, Gabe, and Dave who all helped make my experience a positive one. That's not easy to do when car-shopping is NOT my favorite thing to be doing. Thanks all. More

Did not meet my expectations I have had several friends buy cars from Mohawk Honda and rave about them. I am very disappointed that I did not have that experience. I started out I have had several friends buy cars from Mohawk Honda and rave about them. I am very disappointed that I did not have that experience. I started out looking for a salesperson that I was referred to but he was not working. Mark was the next available. Mark was very nice and professional. He did tell me that he was a new salesperson and so I gave him the benefit of the doubt when it came to not knowing things that a seasoned person would know. My transaction definitely took longer because he had to seek answers but for me, everyone has a learning curve and that would not have dropped my rating of the dealership. But, maybe Mohawk should focus more on up front training of new sales personnel. The reason for my rating came on day two when I had to go back to do the paperwork and pick up my new car. It started with my appointment starting more than 30 minutes past when I expected with no apology from the finance person. Then, I was presented with a piece of paper showing 4 different monthly payment options, none of which was the payment I had negotiated the day before. When I asked about it, I was told "Oh, that quote was without a warranty." Wait, what?? So, long story short, the car does come with a 3 yr/36,000 mile warranty but the first quote given to me included an additional warranty. Mind you, not one that I agreed to or was presented with for review first but one that was just put in front of me as though that were my first option. At that point, I felt deceived. Then, I was made to feel, over and over that if I didn't purchase at least one extra warranty, I was naive. I'm sorry I am a smart person and to have someone, especially another woman make me feel like I can't make a smart decision, that was not ok. I left without buying any additional warranty on the premise that I would pay cash if I changed my mind. But honestly, feeling like I was intentionally misled in this situation made me feel like I could never trust Mohawk and would not be bringing my car back for service. I was happy to be driving away in my new Honda but it turned out that wasn't even the end of my Mohawk experience. Being so focused on selling me a warranty, no one noticed that they put the wrong plates on my car and that they never put the registration sticker in the window! At some point, they realized that they still had my plates and registration, had Mark call me and arrange to come out to me to switch the plates and put the sticker on. Gunner agreed to do that so that Mark would not have to go out of his way and I very much appreciated him for that. Gunner was very nice and apologetic. It's really a shame that there wasn't more transparency and honesty when it came to the money portion of this deal. I really did enjoy working with Mark and learning about his journey, the tech guy, Caleb, who showed me all of my cool new features was also nice and Gunner, too. I just am not ok with what happened in the middle. Maybe it was fluke. Hopefully it was. More

I was referred to them by my financial advisor John Colley of Colley Asset Management in Saratoga Springs. I have to say the experience was one of the best car buying experiences I’ve ever had at a dealership. I worked with the sales manager Mark Ellis and his son Mark Junior and they couldn’t have been nicer, more oriented towards my needs or more straightforward in how they dealt with me. They went out of their way to help me get as close to the price I wanted as possible without any kind of hard selling techniques. In fact, they suggested ways that would help me out in the long run. When I picked up the CRV, the excellence continued. Gabe showed me how to take advantage of the features and how everything worked. He was knowledgeable and patient and explained everything quite well. Sondra who was in the Financial Office finalized the process of the lease and got me on my way. She too was very knowledgeable and guided me though the possible services that I might take advantage of without any hard selling. All in all, I would highly recommend Mohawk Honda to everyone interested in a pleasant and satisfying car buying experience. An experience like I had does not just happen. I also believe that the leader of Mohawk Honda who sets the tone and the approach had a lot to do with my experience. Kudos to all. Gary Wood More
