A few days ago, when my daughter informed me that she would need to purchase a new car, I cringed. With all of the issues surrounding auto purchases such as a shortage of chips, the inventory shortage would need to purchase a new car, I cringed. With all of the issues surrounding auto purchases such as a shortage of chips, the inventory shortage of cars, and the inflated prices of cars, it seemed like a daunting task. But it turned out to be anything but that at Sloane Toyota in Philadelphia and the salesman, Mark V. By reputation, they are honest and have integrity. I know that seems hard to believe today, but they are. We called Mark V and when we arrived, we were told that the car that we wanted to see would have to be ordered, but he told us that they had in stock a similar car, and actually a better choice as it turned out. Next was the negotiation of the price and we were ready to negotiate. But, we saw that Sloane didn’t charge us over the MSRP as other dealers are doing today. They didn’t add any unethical costs and helped my daughter to be able to leave the dealership with a new car. It seemed to be an answer to a prayer And Sloane has lived up to their well-earned reputation and have gained a family of repeated customers. -Wendy More
