This is our second Corolla from Oak Lawn Toyota, the other one is 2003 Corolla and still runs like new, thanks to their service dept. Oaklawn Toyota #1 4Runner trail great experience My family and I have purchased vehicles from Oaklawn Toyota before but this experience was even better (Just when you think things cannot be better), My family and I have purchased vehicles from Oaklawn Toyota before but this experience was even better (Just when you think things cannot be better), I took my 2013 Toyota Venza in for an oil change, and noticed service manager Al Leon in the showroom, we talked about Toyotas and reliability, then i asked Al about the new 4runner he said "Like all Toyotas its a great vehicle," Now if the serivice manager who is honest (the service departemnt never plays the game selling you things you dont need), next I talked To Mark Girlich sales manager as we talk when I come in for service and told him i would like to eventually buy a TRD pro Toyota 4Runner maybe in Sept when I retire as a retirement gift to myself. Mark asked If I have looked into the Toyota 4runner Trail edition, i told him no, thenMark expalined all the attributes of this vehicle, have to admit my interest was peaked. He did not try any hard sell nonsense, but told me they would be getting 1 in but he was not sure when, so I was not ready to purchase at this time. They I researched the Trail, all i can say is awesome vehicle, next I was driving down 95th street past Oaklawn toyota and looked casually at the new car lot, there was a Attitude Black 4 runner sitting there, so I parked and decided "just to take a look" then looking it was the Trail edition, (felt like a kid looking at this awesome truck), so i said why not? Walked inside and spoke to salesman Bob Spee and told him I would like a test drive, he said ok finished with another customer and we went for a ride, I was to say the at least I was really impressed! Bob explained all the features (there are many), we appraised my Venza no pressure got a price and left! Went home called my wife she said "you sound like you really like it get it" so I called Bob and asked him to add running boards,he said sure will have it done early next day, and would hold it with no deposit. Came in the next day and there it was all washed and full tank of fuel, turned around inside the service Department what did I see? My old 1996 4runner in for service that I traded for the Venza still running, but needing some reapair by the experts at Oaklawn Toyota, turned my head walking toward showroom there was service manager Al Leon with a big smile, he knew I was going to buy that new 4Runner, and he knows the only place I will got for service is the best dealer with the best service department oaklawn Toyota. Then I sat down with Mike Maggio finance manager, had a great conversation the deal from Bob Spee was exactly on the money no extras, bought the 8 year 125,000 genuine Toyota platinum warranty (its a Toyota may never need it, but thought with all the computer stuff just in case), Bottom line not going to tell you the deal but it was unbeatable, my first 1996 4runner i had for 17 years now this 1 should be at least 20 years. If you want reliability check the ratings you will buy Toyota, look at comparable vehicles my new 4runner had a MSRP of $40,995 try to get all it has on say a Chevy Tahoe would cost $20,000 more and resale on Toyotas is high, but then again its hard to find a good used Toyota as family passes them down to other family members as the miles and reliability move forward! Thnak You Mark,Bob,Mike and BTW the owner Ronnie Colosimo was in the showroom shaking my hand for buying this awesome vehicle thanking me! 1 promise you will NEVER baet the price,and the service all around fantastic dealer!! More
