My neighbor just bought a new car at Tom Gill and recommended this dealership for excellent service. I was greeted by Matt who was friendly, knowledgeable, and most importantly, not pushy. Within a few minutes we had built up a good trust. after looking at a few cars, I went home. The next day he had a different car to look at which fit my needs perfectly. Lazy Lazy Lazy When I started my car search I worked with Aaron Henry. I enjoyed my experience with him even though I wasn't ready to buy that day. When I was ready, When I started my car search I worked with Aaron Henry. I enjoyed my experience with him even though I wasn't ready to buy that day. When I was ready, a few weeks later, Aaron was the big reason I wanted to buy the Equinox. When I arrived Aaron was with another customer. I said I would wait. After 20 or so minutes one of the Sales Managers said they had to pair me with someone else since Aaron was busy. This is where my experience at Tom Gill Chevrolet went from positive to negative. I was paired with Matt Post and he's a big reason why I have nothing nice to say about Tom Gill Chevrolet. I had found a 2019 Equinox LT at another dealership with a price I really liked. Aaron told me on my first visit that if I found a car at a different dealership they could do a transfer. The only reason I came back to Tom Gill Chevrolet was because of the experience I had working with Aaron. So when I gave Matt my phone to show him the Equinox I wanted, he just glanced at it and proceeds to sell me a 2020 with less features than the 2019 I wanted because rebates. Now Matt may have been telling the truth about transfer fees and what not but since he put in ZERO EFFORT into getting that 2019 I was interested I now don't have any peace of mind in knowing if I got the most car for my money or not. Long story short, Matt coasted off the great experience I had with Aaron and left me angry with myself for buying a car from him. Had Matt actually put in the work to put my mind at ease he would might have gotten a better review. I only wish I could give him a zero stars. A few days later I called and left a message for a sales manager to call me back. I wanted to discuss my buying experience before I wrote my review. I guess lazy is the main characteristic Tom Gill looks for in his sales people and managers because after 3 days, I never got a call back. In less than 30 days I've dealt with more BS from Tom Gill Chevrolet than I did in 20 years between Kerry Nissan and Sweey Saturn. That is pathetic. I'm also still waiting on my license plate to be mailed to me, per the finance guy whose name I can't recall. I could have walked to the Kenton city building and just got it myself. I was there to get my license updated anyways. After shopping at Tom Gill Chevrolet I know why people hate the car buying experience. More

Matt did a great job. I'm a tough sell. I'm not associated with the dealership in any way. If I have a complaint, it would be the carwash being closed too often.
