Honestly I am not real big about talking about myself, I am more interested in hearing about other people but I will give you a quick rundown of my life! I have been in Whatcom County since 2001, moved to Washington State in 1987 from Florida. I currently own and operate the Eagle Eye Ranch in Sedro Woolley. I have one adult son, four dogs and a variety of farm critters. I have traveled to several places most recently Nashville TN, my favorite place is Nepal and I hope to return one day! The car business has taught me so much about all Makes and Models but I get super excited about trucks especially F-150 and Super Duties! If you want to know more about me come see me for your next vehicle and we can chat!! Thanks for taking the time to read my “short” bio!

Michelle was helpful and responsive over the 15 month wait time. I didn't personally didn't deal with Jack, but my friend did and he had a very frustrating time. He ordered his truck before me and he's s wait time. I didn't personally didn't deal with Jack, but my friend did and he had a very frustrating time. He ordered his truck before me and he's still waiting for it! Apparently Jack really messed up. More

Let me start by saying I liken buying a car at a dealership to going to the dentist or having major surgery. I was looking for a specific make and model car to replace the one that had been totaled dealership to going to the dentist or having major surgery. I was looking for a specific make and model car to replace the one that had been totaled in an accident. I saw one on FB marketplace. I sent a message and Michelle from Bellingham Ford responded. We messaged back and forth to discuss price, car condition, and how we plans to pay for the car. We made an appointment for 12:30pm on Wednesday 2/15. I explained to Michelle we were waiting on the funds from our insurance company and a confirmation from our credit union so we could finance the balance. Michelle met us as we drove up. We looked the car over and then took it for a test drive Michelle accompanied us on the test drive. Once we returned to the dealership we went inside to fill out the initial Paperwork . That went smoothly and took very little time. Michelle was both professional and friendly. We spoke of many things as we completed the paperwork. Once we were finished Michelle said she was going to send us over to finance. After a short wait we were lead down stairs to the finance office. Shortly after we sat down the financial person (I don’t remember his name) started to try and sell us a protection package for our car that was going to be around 1/4 of the price of the car. After listening for a bit I politely told him we were not interested. He said he was just doing his job and kept trying to convince me what a great deal this was. I finally got through to him we were not interested and were not going to purchase any extra warranty. The seemed to be some communication issue because he was unaware that we planned to finance a portion of the car. This seemed to fluster him somewhat but he got on the phone with our credit union and worked out the details I was told that the dealership provided a 6000mile/6month warranty. I should have asked more questions. I assumed that meant the dealership had faith in their product and would stand behind it. Turns it it was a 50/50 warranty. If anything went wrong with the car I would have to drive or tow it 2 hours back to the dealer and pay for half the repairs. After we finished with financial my wife and I moved our belongings from our rental car to our new (to us)car. Michelle arranged for the rental car company to pick up our rental so we didn’t need to do it. We left made a couple of stops and shortly after dark the car would not start. We called AAA and he successfully jumped the car and got it running. He tested the battery and said it didn’t fail the test but suggested we drive for 30-45 min to build up a charge. We drove up to the Canadian border and back and have no issues since. I am aware when a car sits for a while the battery can loose charge. It seems to me the dealership should have made sure it was fully charged before we picked the car up. Michelle was a joy to deal with and I would buy another car from her. I would recommend Bellingham Ford to my friends with some warnings about what to watch for. More
