I rarely leave reviews, but after everything I’ve experienced over the past year, I feel people deserve to know before buying a car here. This wasn’t even my first time purchasing from this dealer experienced over the past year, I feel people deserve to know before buying a car here. This wasn’t even my first time purchasing from this dealership. I traded in my previous car, which I had originally bought from you, and expected the process to be straightforward. Instead, I spent nearly 10 hours going back and forth during the purchase. I was offered one amount for my trade-in, but when it came time to sign the paperwork, the numbers suddenly changed. I was told they would “make it right” by sending me a check for the remaining difference and by including oil changes and a three-year transmission warranty. It felt misleading and was an exhausting way to buy a car. Then, the very next day after purchasing the vehicle, it wouldn’t even start because it had a bad battery. I had just bought the car, was so excited to finally have it, and instead I missed work because I couldn’t even drive it. That is not what anyone expects after buying a vehicle. Since then, owning this car has been incredibly expensive. I had to replace the tires much sooner than anyone should after purchasing a vehicle. When I reached out because I had literally just bought the car, I was told that since it came from the “as-is” section, there wasn’t anything they could do. The only solution they offered was $100 off repairs that would have cost me around $1,100 through them. That didn’t feel like standing behind the vehicle they had just sold me. Fast forward to today. I called around 4:45 p.m. to ask about scheduling one of the oil changes that were included with my purchase because the last time I came in, I was told appointments were required. I also wanted to mention that my car has developed a ticking noise and ask who I should speak with about it. The employee I spoke with, Albert, repeatedly talked over me and never let me finish my questions. When I politely asked for his name, he hung up on me. Since I was only about a minute away, I drove to the dealership to speak with someone in person. When I asked Albert for his name again, instead of simply telling me, he kept saying, “Look down, look down,” while laughing. I was confused because I was looking at the paper in front of me, but he apparently meant the nameplate on his desk. The interaction felt childish and completely unprofessional. What made it even worse was standing there as a young woman while multiple employees laughed. Whether they intended it that way or not, I left feeling dismissed, belittled, and embarrassed. No customer should feel that way for simply asking a question. I’m a young buyer who worked hard to afford this car, and it’s actually in my mom’s name. I truly feel she and I were taken advantage of during the purchasing process. Between the misleading trade-in numbers, the bad battery the day after purchase, the expensive tire replacement shortly after buying the car, and now being treated disrespectfully when trying to use services that were promised with my purchase, this has been one disappointment after another. I understand what buying an “as-is” vehicle means. I wasn’t expecting a brand-new car. I was expecting honesty, professionalism, and basic customer service. Unfortunately, that’s not what I received. I hope this review encourages management to take customer concerns more seriously because no one should leave a dealership feeling the way I have. More
