Let’s start by saying , I thought I truly liked my car but I was sold a rust bucket that has every screw holding the engine together rusted as well as systemic rust in the body. They were well aware of th but I was sold a rust bucket that has every screw holding the engine together rusted as well as systemic rust in the body. They were well aware of this cars condition. Not only was I cheated on the sale of its condition but the salesman informed me that the listed price was even 1500 dollars higher do to a electronic device added to the engine(it was not able to be removed I did not want it) Yes I should have walked away definitely should have walked or at least had a mechanic look at it, lesson learned, very severely indeed. I had the assumption that buying from a dealership would be safe and that their integrity would hold them to a higher standard than the other used car lots. What a horrible mistake I made. I have tried to talk to the dealership owner since it was his son who sold me the car, to no avail. I am very angry that I have been treated in this fashion. All the smiles and kindness through the paperwork will not replace the fanatical hardship I am face having bought a car in this condition. Our community becomes an ugly place when people are treated without respect. As a retired person on a fixed income this hardship will be very difficult to endure especially with the continued financial crisis we are facing in this country and even more so in CA. Shame on Albany Subaru for the sale of this car. It should have gone to auction with my trade in. More
