This was my first time here at Volkswagen of Downtown Chicago.. It was the best experience, Mike Szafraniec was the best... very comforting, and what was so appreciated was all the detail that Volkswagen Chicago.. The guys at 1111 N Clark are fantastic. The manager of service is a super guy. The all fall in directly behind as being stand up guys as well. The whole place is great. The service team all works really hard for their customers, and they really go the extra mile. Mike is incredibly helpful and patient in explaining what service needs to be done and why. We had initially brought our car in for the standard 51k service. We had specifically requested that the Add Blue be checked and topped off if needed. That was not done which required a return trip. After we got our car back, we noticed a dried white residue all over the inside of the trunk. a A few weeks later, we noticed The tires had not been rotated, even though the receipt indicted they had been. Again, another trip to the dealership to rectify the issue. Ultimately Bill Dolan made things right, but it requires a total of three trips for things that should have been handled in one trip More

My service advisor, Adam, was great! He communicated clearly to me what needed to be done, the estimated cost, and approximate time the work would be finished. I brought my car in twice for the same issue, was told to bring it back and let them know it was the same issue. I highlighted that over the phone while making the reservation, told the gentleman who took th bring it back and let them know it was the same issue. I highlighted that over the phone while making the reservation, told the gentleman who took the vehicle that i had been through this before. They told me they weren’t able to recreate the issue, and it happened again on my way home. So nothing was fixed. I also noticed that my phone cord was taken out of the vehicle. I called to ask if it was accidentally left out of the vehicle and was told that i could call and ask the lost and found... i didn’t lose it, it was taken. All in all, pretty frustrated with my eexperience this time around. I will say that i generally have a fantastic experience here, so I think this may just be situational. More

Mike is exceptional. There was a mix-up in the system that my part didn't come on time, but Mike tried his best to fix the mistake and got my car fixed within a reasonable time.
