Fair dealing in the world of used autos I did not intend to purchase a vehicle this week, month or year. I spotted my truck while leaving the Walmart parking lot. I hoped to be quick on th I did not intend to purchase a vehicle this week, month or year. I spotted my truck while leaving the Walmart parking lot. I hoped to be quick on the lot and not get snagged by one of the used car salesman, after all diner was on the stove & I only needed 2 things from Walmart. I expected the price to be much higher for the condition and mileage of the truck. I was pleasantly surprised how fairly priced the vechicle was and the fact that it was unlocked really surprised me. Most lots keep them locked during business hours so you have to get a salesman to grab the keys. I felt ZERO pressure from mike when I told him I’d swing by tomorrow. The test drive was great, the service dept put the truck up on the lift so I could go under and see the frame, I asked if an independent mechanic could review the truck and was afforded enough time for a through review. The truck does have a few mechanical issues I must resolve but it brings great peace of mind to know it is not a giant piece of crap. The sales team was more than fair when it came time to negotiate the price, & I have saved enough to afford the necessary repairs. I hope the service dept will honor the 50/50 warranty on 2 seals that are leaking in the drive train. I will recommend Donovan to my friends and coworkers & will be sure to shop this lot next time I’m in the market for a new used vechicle. Tony Dugone. More
