This review is for the service department and ASSISTANT SERVICE MANAGER BRIAN GALAZ in particular. I made an appointment for a 42000 service for my 2025 Outback. The Premier website lists the servic SERVICE MANAGER BRIAN GALAZ in particular. I made an appointment for a 42000 service for my 2025 Outback. The Premier website lists the services included and one of those services is replacing the front and rear differential oil. As I put a large amount of miles on the car in steep inclines (I frequently drive 2-3000 mile trips through the Blue Ridge Mountains) I specifically asked if this was included in the listed price of $139.99 for the 42000 service. I was told that it was by the woman i spoke with. I specifically repeated that I would be getting an oil change, tire rotation and front/rear differential oil change for $139.99 and again I was told yes. Great price so I booked the service for 4/17/26. I arrived the dealership and was told that the $139.99 only covered the oil change and tire rotation. I explained what I was told and what was listed on their website and the service rep stated that he could do nothing about it. I asked to speak with a manager as I was provided very different information from another Premier Service Rep who I spoke with when making the appointment. Assistant Service Manager Brian Galaz came to speak to me and immediately had an aggressive attitude and cut me off when I was explaining the issue. Mr. Galaz even stated that differential services are not part of the 42000 services they offer implying that I was lying. This service is literally listed on their website so he was the one lying...or just badly uniformed. I explained that I felt this was a "bait and switch" situation and that I would file a complaint with CT DMV if they didn't honor the service/price I was quoted and again expinednthatbInspecifically repeated the services and price I expected booked the appointment. Mr. Galaz refused so I asked for my vehicle back. Mr. Galaz was extremely unprofessional, dismissive and rude in his interaction with me. He's a short man so perhaps he has a bit of a Napoleonic Complex but despite that he should be professional and hear a repeat customer out (I've purchased two vehicles for this dealership) when they are explaining an issue. I did not raise my voice, I did not treat the service rep rudely and in fact related to him that I understood it was not his fault and that he was just trying to do his job. I showed him the Pre Orr website that listed the services (including the front/rear differential oil change) and he said "yeah, we need to change that." More

What’s not to love about Premier Subaru. The buying experience was straight forward with no bait and switch in the price once we sat down. Even the one add on I didn’t want was taken off quickly without any push back. I asked if they could include the all weather mats. They agreed during the test drive but as it turns out the car already came with them so they just took the price of the mats off the car since they promised them. Something they didn’t have to do but was very nice of them. Gives me confidence that they are not out to nickel and dime the customers. Between the both trips to the dealer I was in and out in less than 3 hours total. My sales person Jeremy was amazing and easy to talk to. I’ve already ordered a couple add in from the service dept and that experience was also great. Buying a new car doesn’t get easier. More

My experience with the service department at Premiere Subaru is always 5-star. Since buying my car there, I have taken my Forester there for all service. The service reps are professional, friendly, know Subaru is always 5-star. Since buying my car there, I have taken my Forester there for all service. The service reps are professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. They don't try to oversell but inform you of your maintenance needs and provide you with options. Nick was especially helpful this time. The waiting room is large, comfortable, and spotlessly clean. The restrooms are clean and modern. I bring work with me, and the internet is great. It's clear that this dealership works hard to take care of its customers. Thank you. More

It took me a many years to come to decide it was time to give up my 2010 Camry. Several weeks back a costly repair pushed me to make a decision in a week due to the cost of a rental car. The moment I walked into the building, I had a good feeling. Meeting Bob personally was comforting and when he pulled Matt Keeney over to work with me and my son, we knew we were in great hands! I was fussy, nervous, and anxious but all of that went away as we worked with Matt. Rick, Rodney, My Subaru ‘school teacher’ Andi, all were extremely nice, knowledgeable and very patient. The whole “family” made it a fabulous experience! Sadly one week later, about 111 miles, my new beautiful blue Forrester was pelted with hail while at work in Wallingford. 75! dings on my hood caused me to meet your wonderful service department already, La’Trell and Nicholas were very kind and all were sympathetic. Hoping the ‘dent guy’ does the best possible repair. Thank you all! Mary More

Beware of large markups on parts prices above MSRP and deceptive invoice statements listing retail prices that are not the actual MSRP, but the inflated price. I recently had the strut and mount repla deceptive invoice statements listing retail prices that are not the actual MSRP, but the inflated price. I recently had the strut and mount replaced on my 2018 WRX at Premier Subaru in Branford. When I received the invoice, I looked on Premiers parts website to understand what exactly was being replaced. I was shocked to see that the prices Premier charged me for the two parts was 32% and 54% higher than MSRP, and 83% and 89% higher than Premier charges to purchase online and pickup in the service department mere feet away from where I stood. Despite these drastic markups the invoice which lists the retail and actual price listed the inflated price for both retail and actual, deceiving the customer into thinking they are paying Subaru’s MSRP. When I questioned this Premier Subaru did not have a rationale for the practice and without explanation gave me a $147 discount, which was less than half the markup above MSRP. More
