Upgraded I wasn't sure what I wanted to do with my lease. I had some concerns with either buying it out or buying a new vehicle. Nate and Ryan were very patien I wasn't sure what I wanted to do with my lease. I had some concerns with either buying it out or buying a new vehicle. Nate and Ryan were very patient with me and let me weigh my options. I was able to upgrade to a newer Sante Fe Sport and keep it at the same payment. I would recommend Gateway to my friends! Lies and avoidance I have never dealt with this kind of horrible customer service in my life. I brought my car in for my end of lease. They got me into a new Hyundai l I have never dealt with this kind of horrible customer service in my life. I brought my car in for my end of lease. They got me into a new Hyundai lease and told me that they would cover the rest of my payments on my current vehicle (the sales men I dealt with were wonderful though besides not informing me of how the payoff of the lease goes). Later they sent me a check and said they don't cover the payments I need to pay my final bill. I never received a bill. I was told I must have lost my bill. When I called Hyundai they said I owed $620 when Gateway only sent me $399 because they miscalculated the payments I had left. I went back and forth with Ryan and left voicemails because he was never available to talk and every time I finally got ahold of him he always said he never got my voicemails. Finally Ryan said they could not get me check for the rest of the money until I got them a bill with that amount. When I called Hyundai again to get a bill they told me that they have not sent out a bill because they wait 60 days to send it out and Gateway should know that. When I finally got my bill I emailed it to Ryan like I was told. I received no response. After waiting a few days I finally get ahold of him and he tells me he never got my email and then says oh wait I did and you will have a check cut for you to pick up on June 12th my bill was due 5 days after that. He said I would need to pay the money out of my own pocket so that my bill wasn't past due. I was not able to pick up the check on the 12th so I emailed him again to mail it to me. No response. After a week and half I called again to find out where my check was. I was told on June 21st that I was mailed to me on June 19th. I waited another week. Today I sent a request for the GM to call me because I was fed up with the lies and avoidance and dealing with Ryan. He never contacted me but forwarded it to Ryan. Ryan called me today and told me that my check was NEVER CUT AND NEVER MAILED! I constantly was lied to and avoided because every time I emailed or left a voicemail I was never contacted back. I will never deal with Gateway again and everyone I have talked to have said that they receive the same sort of customer service. I don't know how they can justify lying how many countless times. I was told twice my check was cut and ready and mailed when it never was. I had to pay money out of my own pocket that I could not afford to pay to pay a bill that I was never told I would have because they said "You don't need to worry about your final payments we have them covered" and I still don't have my money 2 1/2 weeks after paying the bill out of my own pocket. The GM couldn't even give me the courtesy to call me back when I requested a call and discuss this with me. More
