I recently purchased a new 2013 Dodge Durango from Bettenhausen Dodge in Tinley Park. This was by far the best car buying experience I have ever had. Our Sales Manager Nick Pattenaude was fair and hon Bettenhausen Dodge in Tinley Park. This was by far the best car buying experience I have ever had. Our Sales Manager Nick Pattenaude was fair and honest and did not play any of the usual dealership “games”. We worked with Nick from start to finish; we were not handed off to a sales manager or the finance manager. Nick understood what we were looking for and that we wanted the best deal. I do not stand for high pressure sales games, I have walked out of numerous dealerships. There was absolutely no pressure placed on us at all anytime during the process. The initial offer Bettenhausen made on my trade was extremely competitive and the upfront pricing on the vehicle made our purchase decision an easy one. Nick worked hard to make sure that I received the best deal on the vehicle. I shopped around at 3 other Dodge dealers and they could not come close to the deal that Nick had come up with. We are extremely happy with the vehicle, thank you Nick and Bettenhausen for a great car buying experience. More

My name is Maggie and I just turned 22 years old. I recently purchased my first new car from Bettenhausen Dodge. I was very nervous about getting taken advantage of and talked into a car I didn't want recently purchased my first new car from Bettenhausen Dodge. I was very nervous about getting taken advantage of and talked into a car I didn't want, but I walked into the dealership with confidence. Nick Pattenaude gave me a couple minutes to check some cars in the showroom and he started explaining the choices I had. He was very calm and friendly, so it was easy to learn about the car. I needed to know a little more and decied to take a test drive. Scott Abramowicz helped me with searching for cars on the lot. Scott was also very calm and answered all my questions! Scott made the choices very clear for me. I was not car savvy when I walked in, but the experience of the employees was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The process of actually buying the vehicle was made very easy too! Scott had a wonderful office that made me see what a wonderful guy he was and what a beatuful family he had! Scott made the different choices for financing very clear and evern wrote up different scenarios depending on what I wanted to do. It was a wonderful experience at Bettenhausen. It turned out to be an extremely exciting experience as well. Oh! and the best part was the cookout Bettenhausen has every Saturday! It was so nice to be able to eat, since we were there for so long. I had a wonderful time and I highly recommend Bettenhausen for anybody with car needs. More

After having a miserable experience with the finance department at Mancari Dodge of Oak Lawn Il. I decided to head to Bettenhausen to discuss my options with Nick Pattenaude (Sales Manager). After discu department at Mancari Dodge of Oak Lawn Il. I decided to head to Bettenhausen to discuss my options with Nick Pattenaude (Sales Manager). After discussing how Mancaris internet team got me to come in to the dealer to see a car that wasn't even there. (At this time I realized they pulled the old Bait and switch). However they did have several cars that were very close in price. Eventually I chose a car and after a while of haggling, myself and the finance manager shook hands and closed the deal, or so I thought we closed the deal, at the time of going over the final paperwork somehow my length of my loan grew by several months. When I question how this could happen they claimed this was all they could do to reach my monthly payment, although several moments ago we shook on both the payment and the length that was agreed on. At this time I Left, bottom line is Mancari sucks! After venting to Nick about how much Mancaris sucks, we got down to business I told Nick where I needed to be on payment and on length of the loan. Not more than 45mins went by, Nick approached me and said lets go pick out your new Dodge Avenger there were three that fit my price range the only decision left was what color would I like. Nick made my new car buying experience a very pleasant one, I will definetly refer all my family and friends to Bettenhausen. More

Best car dealership experience I have ever had. I bought a Jeep from Bettenhausen in 2012 and went back for my new Dodge Durango a year later. Love this dealership, no BS and they do not waste your time. Ni a Jeep from Bettenhausen in 2012 and went back for my new Dodge Durango a year later. Love this dealership, no BS and they do not waste your time. Nick was great we looked at the inventory and figured they did not have what I wanted so we ordered it directly from dodge. Took exactly 3 weeks from day of order, which was faster than I though it would take. Nick kept me up-to-date throughout the 3 weeks. When I went to finish deal nothing changed besides the incentives which meant more $$ off for me. I would highly recommend this dealership and Nick they are awesome. No haggles and no one trying to sell you something else, or force you into a car that is not exactly what you want. More

I bought by previous two minivans at Bettenhausen, so I first looked there when I started shopping for my newest minivan. My service experiences at Bettenhausen have always been positive and the sales exp first looked there when I started shopping for my newest minivan. My service experiences at Bettenhausen have always been positive and the sales experiences also, but this time I thought I would also shop around for price. After some frustrating experiences with other dealers, I found that Bettenhausen was actually offering me the best price available to me. So I returned to buy the van there. Nick Pattenaude my first sales person was patient, helpful, and respectful as we test drove different versions of the van on multiple visits to the dealership. And he was upfront about the final price I would pay. When we finalized the deal with David Martinez, in spite of the late hour near closing time, he took time to make us feel comfortable by providing us beverages as he efficiently guided us through the paperwork and the walkthrough of the van's operating features. In retrospect, I would have saved a lot of trouble if I had omitted the comparison shopping at other dealerships where your time is wasted and you are given the run around, and just stuck with Bettenhausen. I purchased a 2012 Dodge Challenger R/T Plus (Blue Pearl paint) on August 11th from Bettenhausen Dodge. I worked with Nick P. Unlike other dealers, this dealership didn't try to nickle and dime me wit paint) on August 11th from Bettenhausen Dodge. I worked with Nick P. Unlike other dealers, this dealership didn't try to nickle and dime me with fees such as the Etching Sticker fee. The negotiation was relatively short in comparison with other experiences. It really helped that I went to the dealership knowing the price I was willing to pay for this particular Challenger and its options. The Challenger on the lot didn't have the wheels/tires I wanted, so they upgraded them for me (at a fair price). Fortunately, they were able to give me the stock 18" wheels/tires which I later sold on Craigslist. The only downside was that the new vehicle had over 200 miles on it. However, Nick was able to work out something for me. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this purchase and Bettenhausen Dodge. Eddie August 2012 More

I bought a Dodge Durango Crew from Nick a year ago. At the time of financing, I was contemplating a 3 year loan for the better finance charge. I was a admittedly a bit indecisive but Nick told me to appl the time of financing, I was contemplating a 3 year loan for the better finance charge. I was a admittedly a bit indecisive but Nick told me to apply for the 4 year loan because "we can always change it to 3 years" once you get approved. The following week, I called Ally Auto the financer and they said I could not change it to a 3 year loan with the better financing that they just don't do that. Nick never followed up with me to see how I liked the car. I had an issue with the running board breaking off and I drove my $47K vehicle for over 7 months before they finally replaced it with one that wouldn't break off. They blamed it on the company who made the running boards, even though they were factory installed by Dodge. (Apparently not their fault that they chose a company making lousy running boards that clipped in as easily as they could break off.) A year later, my keys are not recognizable by the car, and many times I can't get it to start for several minutes, the stitching is coming undone on the center console, there is a fog on the dash board glass, the back-up camera doesn't work, and the pinstripe detail is literally flaking off. As I stood in the service department Nick comes in makes eye contact with me and didn't so much as smile, let alone say Hello. I don't care if he doesn't remember me - as car salesman he should. As a car salesman he probably does, and knew he screwed me over into getting stuck with the higher finance rate when I could afford the cheaper one, and as a car salesman if he didn't recognize me, he should fake like he did, and smile and say hello when he is looking at someone in the eyes, while in his own place of employment. I wouldn't have ever bothered writing this until he had the audacity to make eye contact and not have the courtesy to so much as smile, let alone say hello. My grandfather was a car salesman and he knew to always smile and be friendly with everyone he made eye contact with. He also remembered his customers. More
