Very bad experience with Kings Nissan dealership located at We would like to let you know that we had a very bad experience with Kings Nissan dealership located at 2758 Coney Island Avenue, Brooklyn, NY. On Au We would like to let you know that we had a very bad experience with Kings Nissan dealership located at 2758 Coney Island Avenue, Brooklyn, NY. On August 31, 2017 we came to Kings Nissan dealership 2758 Coney Island Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11235 to lease a car. We met Gary Vykrest, sales consultant who was helping us through the process. He asked our information and we told him that we bought 2010 Nissan Altima in the same dealership 6 years ago. Then he asked for a car registration to look up the information in a computer. He said it would be easier because our information should be in computer since we bought a car from them before. We gave him our Altima registration card and he made a copy of it. Then he asked if we want to trade an old car. We said NO, because our family needs a second car and that is the reason why we came today. We completed a deal and left with new 2017 Nissan Rouge Sport car. Gary said because we residents of Pennsylvania they have to order license plates for us and it may take about 2 weeks. He attached a temporarily transit plate on the rear window and said he call us when they get our PA license plates. We waited a couple of weeks and start calling Nissan to find out where our license plates because that transit plate expires on 09/30/2017. A nightmare started at this point. No one knows anything about it and we found out that sales consultant who sold a car to us is not working there any more. We talked to 4 different people and no one was able to tell us what is going on and where our license plates and registration. They all promise to call back but then no one ever call back. Then finally Dave Ivnitsky called and explained that instead of ordering PA license plates for our new 2017 Rouge Sport car someone had transferred license plate from our 2010 Altima to 2017 Rouge. We asked why they did that, we did not give any permission to do that and did not sign anything to request that transfer. Dave said they did it because there was a copy of registration of our 2010 Altima in the folder and they assume that we want to transfer plates from our old car to a new car. We don’t know why Gary put that copy of Altima registration in the folder as we told him we are not going to trade a car or transfer plates. So the transfer was done without our permission and no one notified us about it. We realized that we were driving our Altima car all this time without registration and with wrong license plate because it was transferred to Rouge. That is good police did not stop us or we would be in a trouble. When we asked what should we do with Altima now Dave suggested us to go to Pennsylvania and register it ourselves. They made a mistake and now we have to go and correct it. After several complains they said they will order a new registration and license plate for our 2010 Altima. We received email from Jessica Martinez and she said is working on that. Today after more that a week we still not have our Altima registered, no license plates and we never received original registration card for our new 2017 Rouge. What kind of service is that? All employees at that Kings Nissan dealership seems unprofessional and don’t care about their customers. More

On a positive note, the car was ultimately fixed, and my service advisor Atnan Guze always picked up the phone when I called, even when he had nothing good to tell me. He was also friendly and seemed to genuinely feel bad about my experience. A number of factors left me thoroughly dissatisfied. It took the mechanics over a month and 4 visits to figure out what was wrong; each time I took the car home I was told the issue was fixed only to discover the issue reappear in a day or two. I was not provided with a loaner vehicle despite multiple discussions with both the service center and asking to talk to the general manager or owner (neither of whom returned my call). I was asked to pay out of pocket for one f the early trips to the service center, instead of submitting a supplemental report through auto insurer. It is true that I agreed to pay, but I did not know better and the service advisor knew very well the car was in a collision. At best this was sloppy service, at worst taking advantage of a naive customer. I eventually got to speak with the service manager Chris, twice. The first time was mid-saga, and he told me the issue was fixed and he was 99% certain. It wasn't. The second time I spoke with him in person about getting back the out of pocket payment that should have been billed to auto insurance. He was polite and promised to talk to the insurer and to the owner, and get back to me in 2-3 business days. He didn't. The whole thing left a very bad taste in my mouth, and made it pretty rough for me to get to work in time for that month. One to the times after the car was 'fixed' I drove to work and got stuck in the middle of the Belt, barely made it back and took the train to Manhattan. All of the patients for the first 2 hours of that day had to be rescheduled which really upset me. Anyway, I certainly will not return to this dealership ( I have been a customer since 1997...), and will probably not get another Nissan when my lease runs out. More

I was immediately directed to the garage and given a sheet pertaining to my car. When I went in Chris was at the desk and said not a problem and if I wanted to wait I could have a seat and he will let me know when it is ready. He was very pleasant. When my car was done Chris reminded me when to come in again and answered all my questions. He was a gentleman and although extremely busy, very nice and calm. He was like that with everyone who came in that I observed. I am happy with Kings Nissan Sales and Service Departments ability to make you feel important from the time I bought my car, the calendar, coupons and the happy birthdays I receive for my Rogue is quite nice and appreciated. I always had a Nissan and will continue to only at Kings Nissan (had bad experience at BR Nissan) and I will continue to use the service dept. going forward. A happy customer!!!!! More
