A mixed review here. I started this journey by test driving vehicles at my local dealerships in Orlando. At both locations, I was given a tour of the facility and was treated to the level I would expect for buying an expensive item. Once I made a decision on the specifics of the car I wanted, I went in search of the best deal, which I found at the Pembroke Pines location. The initial sales process was superb. This deal was being brokered long distance, and Nina was extremely helpful, responsive, and went out of her way to ensure I had all the information I needed to make an informed decision. She sent several pictures and videos that were very helpful. When they finally had the car I was after on location, I came to pick it up. Asked in advance which payment methods were accepted - was told I could use multiple cards ($5k each - yay points!). When I arrived, Nina met me, but it was actually her day off, so she paired me with Aaron to walk me through the process. He led me to an area where there was a cafe to wait for the finance manager. In my previous Lexus tours, snacks were complimentary, so I asked if the food was free. He said he would comp me. He said the finance manager (Art Armani) was made aware of my arrival and made mention of one hour. That's where it went downhill. I thought I would be done in an hour. No, I waited for an hour and a half just to start the process with him! Aaron came to check on me once after 15 min. The rest of the time was left to just wait. And, while I waited, I was in this cafe that had the feel of an employee break room as opposed to a waiting area for someone getting ready to drop a lot of cash on a car. There were dirty tables, and it seemed the a/c was not working properly as it was very warm. When I finally got in with the finance manager, he seemed quite frustrated and overwhelmed. There also seemed to be a disconnect, as the total price initially agreed upon was not on the documents I was signing. (Good thing I was paying attention!). Also, was told I could not use the payment method I was initially told I could (and was prepared to) use. Luckily I had a backup plan, and they did let me use 2 credit cards for $10k total, but not the 4 I was planning to use for entire balance. (Good thing I brought a check just in case!!) After payment, I was transferred to the insurance guy (Eduardo) who was in good spirits and helpful. Then, back to Aaron who handed me keys, took pics, and set me up on the Lexus app. However, he did not spend much time showing me any features of the car. I have my car and I love it! The sales process was amazing (thank you Nina!!). But after that, did not get the white glove treatment I would have expected from such a large purchase. More
