Parker came to Premier Subaru after 16 years in hospitality where he worked as a Bartender, Server, and in Management positions across the country. Having worked in resort towns in Colorado and Idaho as well as in places like New Hampshire and Saratoga Springs. Originally from Martha's Vineyard, he settled into a coastline town that reminds him of home in Niantic. I fell in love with the Subaru brand the day I got into my first Subaru, a 2009 Legacy Special edition with the moon roof, since that day Subaru has been his first choice. Since Joining the Premier team at the end of 2018, Parker has worn many hats and started as a non-commissioned sales associate, Moved into the Pre-Owned department for both Kia and Subaru, and now is working as Sales Manager with the Subaru Store. In his free time he is working on completing his Masters in Project Management, enjoying all the Shoreline has to offer, and making time for his favorite New York Sports teams the Knicks, Mets, and Jets.

They are providing to you significant mis-information that is causing you unnecessary stress and is truly unfair. There is a reason why our dealership is the approved Subaru retailer for Costco, Consumer Reports, Geico Insurance, American Express and, about 100 other organizations. They are not. In addition, our dealership is the only Subaru dealership approved by the AAA for Automotive Repair. We have a low price guarantee on our vehicles, a three day exchange policy and a lifetime powertrain warranty - all items unavailable anywhere else. So, while that retailer is unfairly providing you information, rest assured that you did, in fact, purchase a vehicle at an exceptional value. While you didn't qualify for the Subaru of America Military Discount, our company provided you with an additional discount to offset that. We appreciate the service of those in the military and provide discounts on a daily basis. We simply cannot control the policies of the Subaru of America Military Discount Program and, neither can any other Subaru retailer. Our team did our best in providing to you accurate and truthful information. You are believing another retailer - who didn't get the sale - who has no regard for your satisfaction and, is attempting to provide you with misinformation to ruin the experience that you were provided with. As our team discussed, we provided you with additional discounts to provide an accommodation to you - as you didn't qualify under the Subaru of America program. No dealership can govern the parameters of the Subaru of America program and, you are welcome to contact them directly to provide them your comments. Premier has provided military discounts for 20 years - and is proud to do it. Many of our team members are retired military, or, have active duty still in the various branches of the military. Premier provides support to military organizations including VA Hospitals. At this point, our owner would welcome a conversation with you. It’s public information that Quality’s price for the same car, with more features is priced LESS than yours. I could have easily saved $1000 if I went to them and I would have ultimately gotten a better deal. I served in the military for 12 years and deployed overseas for 13 months. It’s sad to see that Subaru does not grant combat veterans a military discount when almost every other dealership out there does. What ever happened to the customer always being right? If your sales rep would have clarified that I was not getting the roof rails due to a difference of $500, then I would have paid more. It’s not about the money. It’s about the fact that you have insulted me on numerous occasions. I’ll make sure every VFW and American Legion within New Haven County is well aware that you do not grant Veterans discounts. I personally know a handful of individuals who have been loyal and satisfied Premier customers. I’ll make sure they are aware of my experience so that they can receive grade a customer service and better deals from other dealerships in the future.

If your dealership is willing to give us to opportunity to exchange our vehicle for the one we want, then we will take advantage of that. On top of that, what more do I need to provide to receive the veterans discount? Otherwise, Ill contact corporate Subaru and provide them with proof of my service to contest what you are indicating, regarding my eligibility for the discount. I’m sure they will be shocked with my experience. Nonetheless, if your owner wishes to speak with me, please have him give me a call.
