At last, a pleasant car shopping experience! I had done some research on buying a new car, having not bought one for 27 years. I decided upon Subaru's, initially on the Crosstrek, but also on th I had done some research on buying a new car, having not bought one for 27 years. I decided that the Crosstrek would be a bit small, but I found that Premier had two Outback's with 3.6R six cylinder engines (used) on the lot. I didn't want a '20 with a turbo. Parker took us out in a "17 and "19 Touring, both with the sixes. He took his time, explained all the details of each, didn't push and let us decide. The Touring, of course. I had pretty much wanted this model, having read the description online. The demo drive did the trick. I never thought spending so much money could be so satisfying. I love the car; my WIFE loves the car. Parker did a great job and was extremely nice to deal with. This dealership is great. Pro salespeople with a nice touch. I was in a similar business years ago and learned, if the people walk away happy and satisfied, the sales person and company which trained them, did a good job. Potential repeat customers. This is the norm in industry to industry sales, but not so much with retail. Kudos to Premier. Also kudos to Mike Colagiovanni who walked us through the closing/registration details (cash sale). Nice guy, professional. effective in his job. I would highly recommend this dealership. We came east from Stratford to buy here. We had heard good reports about Premier. I would also like to thank Neil Wetmore for patiently explaining all the technical details of the new car. A lot of patience with an old guy like me. Car Crash = Bad, Parker = Good I was rear ended on 10/4/19. On the 6th, I went in to Premier to test drive Foresters because I knew my beloved and bemoaned car of 5 years wasn't lon I was rear ended on 10/4/19. I returned a couple of days later and left with a car picked out. Parker was very patient while I dealt with insurance and everything else and held the car for me until I was able to return with a down payment. After that, it was lickety-split and I drove off in my newly leased 2020 Forester! More
