Your dealership went above & beyond in working with us to get the price we could all live with. We appreciated the fact that we could do this online and not have to waste time at the dealership. I live in Janesville, WI and I am good friends with Paige Stephenson. Paige recently started working at Wilde East Towne Honda as a receptionist. When she did I told her she should find a car for me. On Friday November 15th I talked to Paige and she said I should go and talk with Todd Neilson about the possibilty of leasing a new vehicle. I drove to Madison that day in my 2003 Dodge Neon (which I still owed $3,700 on)Todd Neilson, Cory Smith and Peter Bothe worked and worked until they were able to get me into a brand new 2013 Honda Civic and pay off my Neon. I LOVE MY NEW CAR AND WILDE EAST TOWNE HONDA! All of the staff, even the ones I did not deal with were very polite, welcoming and nice! Todd Neilson, Cory Smith and Peter Bothe were awesome and went above and beyond! Then I was introduced to Mike Spellman in service and was very impressed and felt comfortable that if I ever need anything regarding the service or maintenance of my new vehicle Mike would be right there to help me. More

Saw their vehicles listed whiles searching for used Honda Odyssey on the Internet and couldn't believe the prices- no one within 250 miles could match them. I contacted the dealer via email and was promptly responded to by Shawn. He made sure I had all the information I needed and promptly responded to any questions or concerns I had. I scheduled an appointment and made the long drive (over 5 hours) to take a look at two specific vehicles. When we arrived, the vehicles were ready and waiting. Shawn, Jerry and Katie were available to answer any questions and get us going on a test drive. Jerry and Katie made sure we had all the information we needed. At no time were we pressured or given the "hard sell". Both vehicles were priced fairly, and we really appreciated the no need to haggle approach. We made our purchase decision, received an excellent financial consultation with Peter Bothe (also no-pressure) and closed the deal - all in 2 hrs. We couldn't be happier with our decision! I would definitely be willing to drive 10 hrs. to do business with them again! Thanks Shawn, Jerry, Katie and Peter! More

My wife and I purchased an 05 Honda Odyssey from Wilde Honda in Madison on June 29, 2013. We were very happy with our salesperson, and the service center, but that's where our happiness ends. The finance department (Kevin, Peter Bothe, and Ann), and used car sales manager(Peter Wisniewski), are TERRIBLE. They sold us a vehicle under, yes under, the agreed upon price. In order to do this, and hide this, we believe they used a technique called "packing" where extras such as extended warranties, service plans, and gap coverages are added in to the sales price in order to increase sales and commissions, why else would you lower the AGREED upon sales price if you didn't stand to make more money by adding these items, or "packing"? Yes, we should have looked at the contract better, but after being at the dealership for about six hours, by the way, we believe this is another technique for wearing you down, we were tired, and frustrated. After many questions, many attempts to resolve this, and many converstions with Wilde Honda I read our every single word in our contracts, (I know) looking for something that might help, and right in the contracts was a cancellation clause for the "add ons", WHY IN THE WORLD WERE WE NOT TOLD ABOUT THIS BY AT LEAST 5 DIFFERENT PEOPLE!!!!! Because everyone knew what was done, and if we cancelled, not only would they loose the commission on the "add ons" but they also sold us the vehicle below the agreed upon price!!!! Friday, July 12, I went to Wilde Honda to sign the documents needed to cancel the "add ons". I sat at the dealership for almost three hours waiting to sign the document, yes one piece of paper. I believe Peter Wisniewski and Ann both knew I was there based on my observations, and converstaions I over heard. I kindly asked the receptionist every 30 minutes if someone in finance could help, returned to my seat and watched for almost three hours everyone walk by and simply say "hi". I believe they knew why I was there and were trying to out last my patience, again TERRIBLE customer service. This entire event could have been avoided by anyone at Wilde telling us that we could simply cancel, instead they proved that the dollar is more important than the customer and that the used car sterotype is still very much alive. Sad but true. More

I had called earlier in the day about test driving a 2010 Honda Civic VP and a 2012 Honda Civic LX. Jerry Ortega was very friendly on the phone, and when I arrived both cars were immediately ready for me to Honda Civic VP and a 2012 Honda Civic LX. Jerry Ortega was very friendly on the phone, and when I arrived both cars were immediately ready for me to look at. Jerry continued to be very informative and personable throughout the whole day and genuinely cared about my needs. He gave me as much time as I needed to examine both cars, and at no point did I feel rushed or pressured into buying quickly. After deciding on the LX, he showed me the CarFax and details regarding the car's previous owner. As a first time buyer, I was happy at how professional yet casual the whole process went. Although I was not able to negotiate a lower price on the vehicle, the price I ended up paying was still actually lower than the Kelly Blue Book value. The same applied to the 2010 Civic VP, which is what initially drew me to Wilde East Towne Honda. However, I was a little upset that they would not honor my pre-approved car loan which I had set up with my bank. Since it was a Saturday and the bank was not open to process the payment, I would have had to wait until Monday to actually lock in the purchase. Despite offering a down-payment, they would not hold the car for me. Ultimately, I had to finance through the dealership if I wanted to guarantee the purchase. This being said, they still managed to get me a decent APR%, and both Jerry and Peter Bothe were extremely helpful in finalizing the deal. Jerry continued to do a followup with me a couple of days later to make sure I was happy with my car, and to insure any minor blemishes on the car were fixed quickly. All in all, I was very impressed with the quality of service and am very happy with my new Civic. As a Milwaukee resident, I definitely recommend considering the hour drive to Wilde East Towne Honda in Madison if you're looking for a nice car and great service! More

I recently purchased a new 2013 Honda Civic Si from East Towne Honda. Used car salesman Joe Paul helped me out a lot in picking the perfect car for me. When I originally went there I was looking at both an '09 Civic and a '11 CR-Z. After driving them both around I was really debating on which one I wanted; Joe helped me with making this decision quickly (the CR-Z was wayyy too small for my needs). After filling out paperwork for the '09, we ran into some conflicts and Business Manager Peter Bothe did everything he could to help me reasonably get into a new car. My title also had to be signed by someone in Texas, they helped make this process as easy as possible. Because of some issues, I ended up getting the 2013 Honda Civic Si. Needless to say, I love this car and it had everything I needed in a car. I strongly encourage you to check out the Honda brand and a company that proudly boasts its name! Bad luck streaks do come to an end! This is my third purchase from a Honda dealership, but my first time buying used. I was recently in a car accident and had absolutely no want to buy or even drive a purchase from a Honda dealership, but my first time buying used. I was recently in a car accident and had absolutely no want to buy or even drive a different car... I just wanted my Pilot back. The environment at East Towne Wilde Honda was so refreshing and had a family feel, like I was getting a car from an uncle or something. I will definitely go out of my way to recommend them and plan to do any other family car buying with them in the future. My sales person was Jerry Ortega and I will forever be grateful for his patience and understanding working with me and making an experience I was dreading into a fun/exciting time and turning point. Looking forward to many years in my new rock star vehicle!! Thank you so much fellow MDX driver!
