I came in after having a very bad experience at another dealer. After doing the normal looking around I spoke with Phil Tochterman about a CX9. Phil gave me all the information I required and after negotiating a price for the vehicle and my trade in we had a deal. In fact I asked if they could install some blue lights for me and they did so with no problem. All I can say was this was the best experience I have had in all my car purchases. She highly recommended their courteous service and their ‘no-attitude’ approach that’s so rare to find nowadays at any car dealership. I came there without any particular expectations since the lease on my 2011 Nissan Altima that I had at the time hadn’t expired yet. I just wanted to explore my options. My sales manager was Phil Puleo, my salesman was Phil Tochterman, and a finance manager Kenny Davis – the same outstanding crew that helped my sister to get a great deal. First of all, I was very surprised to find that nobody pressured me into any deals, or signing papers, or giving deposits. I’m so used to being tricked, pressured, frustrated and simply lied by car dealers that I couldn’t fully believe that I was finally treated like a valuable customer and not like a bag of cash!!! Phil T. had a great knowledge of all Mazda vehicles and explained to me all options I had. Like my sister, I decided on leasing a new 2015 Mazda 6. Phil P. (and Kenny D. in turn) were able to work out a very good deal on a vehicle of my choice. They were willing to work with me on all stages of finance/lease process considering that my credit score was not that good. They also gave me a “Loyalty Discount” since my sister recommended me. I walked away with an awesome new car and a great deal. In addition, they paid me to get out of my Nissan lease earlier: they covered my Disposition Fees and some extra mileage I had on the vehicle. Win-win deal!!! Everyone, who I dealt with, was pleasant, helpful, professional and treated me with respect. It was truly the best car-buying experience I have ever had. Pleasant experience Purchased a '15 CX-5 with Phil T. and Phil P's help and was pleased to find out that I could actually get the exact vehicle I wanted after being told Purchased a '15 CX-5 with Phil T. and Phil P's help and was pleased to find out that I could actually get the exact vehicle I wanted after being told by Garden City Mazda that I could not. Phil P. showed me on his computer the exact car I wanted. Once they came in close to my price, they earned my business. There were some paperwork issues at the end and I'm still waiting for the actual Bill of Sale to come in the mail but I can't really complain. They came in under other prices I got. Phil T. was very professional, patient and not pushy which is rare in the world of car salesmen. I for one, like the fact the dealership is small and unpretentious. You're buying a car, I don't need to walk into a place and feel like I'm in a nightclub which seems to be the look a lot of these dealerships are going for.
