My car was towed in twice for not starting - both times after the tow the car started at the dealership. First time they replaced throttle body (which has nothing to do with the starting of the car) but th after the tow the car started at the dealership. First time they replaced throttle body (which has nothing to do with the starting of the car) but they worked on the car for 4 or 5 days and I believe the vibrations of all the work they did moved something lose back to a position where the car would start. Second time (3 months later) car not starting again. After the tow it starts every time for them. Nothing they can do because they can't duplicate the problem. I get the car back 5 days later -- drive home -- turn the car off and sure enough it does NOT START back up. Open and close the hood -- car starts again. To me -- it is obvious that vibration will toggle the starting on and off. Very pleased with service from Ray Navas -- NOT pleased with the mechanics. I believe the problem is the starter or solenoid. I believe they should have investigated that area. Would still recommend because service person (Ray) was very good. Mechanics are probably OK -- but left me disappointed. More
