My husband and I arrived at the dealership with a very clear purpose: we knew exactly which car we wanted, had confirmed its availability, and were ready to make the purchase. In fact, the moment we saw t clear purpose: we knew exactly which car we wanted, had confirmed its availability, and were ready to make the purchase. In fact, the moment we saw the car, I was already certain it was 'the one.' Unfortunately, our interaction with the salesperson immediately struck a negative chord. It felt as though he made assumptions about our genuine interest or ability to buy, treating us with a noticeable lack of respect and seriousness from the start. This dismissive attitude really set a frustrating tone. For instance, when my husband spotted a large decorative "bone" in another vehicle – something dealerships often use for photo opportunities – and politely asked the salesperson if we could take a picture with it in our chosen car, he simply said "Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah" and then completely disengaged. After my husband brought the bone to our car and we took the picture, the salesperson just left without another word, not even offering to help or acknowledge our excitement. This small moment perfectly summed up his overall lack of engagement and made what should have been an exciting purchase feel unwelcoming. However, I must commend the rest of your team. Once we moved past the initial sales interaction and into the purchase phase, the experience became completely different. The finance guy was truly amazing. He was professional, incredibly clear, and efficient, making the final steps of the purchase, including handling my down payment, a remarkably smooth and positive experience. I believe that consistent, respectful customer service from all sales staff, free of presumptions and with genuine engagement, would significantly elevate the car-buying experience at your dealership. A big thank you to your finance team for making the closing process so positive. More
