Easy car buying experience I dread the car buying experience. This was the fastest transaction I've ever had! I walked away with my vehicle in literally 48 hours. I bought a use I dread the car buying experience. This was the fastest transaction I've ever had! I walked away with my vehicle in literally 48 hours. I bought a used subaru from Anthony back in August. And despite a couple of hiccups along the way, he was a pleasure to work with and any issues I had were addressed with no issue. The only reason I rated good vs. excellent is because of these hiccups. I researched inventory on the dealer website, and called to make sure the car I was interested was still on the lot and still available. I was ensured when I called that it was indeed still available. However when I arrived (30 minutes after calling), I was informed there was a deposit on the car. I was disappointed and frustrated to have come all the way down to hear this. As I was shown other cars available, Anthony found out that the original call I was interested was now actually available (the financing did not go through for other buyer), so all this miscommunication put me off at first. Once we sat down and talked through the price, etc and test drove, we liked the car and the experience. It was really low pressure, not sales-y. We walked away that night to "think it over" and ended up gong to our car "talking it over" in the car and walking back in to put a deposit down. The only other not-perfect part of my experience, was that after we had looked at the car, drove it, etc, and the dealer and done the once over and we drove it off the lot the net day, we noticed some minor things. A decorative cover missing from a vent, one of the tire rims REALLY messed up and a noise in the rotation of one of the tires. Brought the car back in and all issues were addressed , no cost. The about a month later noticed another noise on one of the tires, brought it bak in and it was a bad wheel bearing. Again, they fixed it, gave me a loaner car and no issue, no cost. So over all, a very good experience. We would buy from Anthony again! More

These subarus were purchased at another dealership. Time for a change and thought we would try another dealership - Brewster - best decision we made. Ed was fantastic from the first time we walked in the sales room just to get informational booklets. Ed took the time to speak to us and answer questions we had. Needless to say we went back and decided the atmosphere, staff and experience we had was excellent. I cannot say enough about Ed. he was patient, explained everything, worked w/us on price etc. Day we picked up the car Ed took the time and sat in car w/us and explained every feature and after few days checked w/us to see how things were going and said to stop in anytime w/any questions, etc. I highly recommend this dealership and of course Ed to anyone. Also, met w/Nelson who was very nice and also willing to work w/us to make our experience pleasant. Met w/Rich Johnson day we picked up the Forester who was also patient and explained the financial side and warranties to us. Overall great experience and happy. More

I had had a mixed experience at a different Subaru dealership where we bought a 2012 Impreza. The price, the terms, the process, the 'out the door' price was exactly as Anthony said, plus he was personable and funny. Kudos to him and the dealership. I look forward to the opportunity to work with him again when our lease is up. And the car is great. More

Great experience - very happy with my purchase I visited Brewster Subaru as a first-time car buyer, with a pre-conceived notion of how salespeople at a car-dealership would treat a customer (i.e., I visited Brewster Subaru as a first-time car buyer, with a pre-conceived notion of how salespeople at a car-dealership would treat a customer (i.e., I expected to be pressured into buying and to have to haggle over the price). Instead, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the salesperson (Anthony Pilla) was very patient with me and did not make me feel at all pressured to buy. Over the course of 3 separate visits, I test-drove four different cars, eventually narrowing in on a 2017 Subaru Forester. When we discussed pricing, Anthony gave me the price and explained how they had come to that price, ultimately telling me that I could pay the down-payment then and still change my mind before the car arrived without any fear of losing my down-payment. Once the car arrived, I reviewed my purchase with Anthony, then discussed additional warranty options and signed the paperwork with Rich Johnson, who was also very patient and was happy to explain everything to me. I did not feel pressured into buying an additional warranty but Rich offered to explain the different options and answer any questions that I had. Overall, I had a great purchasing experience and would refer a friend to Brewster Subaru. More

All I can say is that my next Subaru will be purchased in Brewster I've owned 4 Subaru's in 20 years and have been to 4 different Subaru dealerships.
