Rich Johnson has been in the auto industry for over 40 years and with Subaru for over 18. He has been married for 22 years to his beautiful wife Donna. As a Connecticut resident, he knows his Subaru will get him through our tough winters. Also, as an avid dog lover, his favorite Subaru is the Outback because it has lots of room in the back for his dogs! He loves being part of the Brewster Family and his door is always open to customers for any questions, concerns or to share dog pictures. Just don't get him started on his favorites: The Sopranos, The Yankees, his favorite bands Eagles & Steely Dan, Sinatra, old movies...or trains!

What a difference! In all the years I've bought cars at dealerships (big and small), this was the first pleasant and most painless experience I've ever had. Every s In all the years I've bought cars at dealerships (big and small), this was the first pleasant and most painless experience I've ever had. Every single person I came in contact with (receptionist, sales manager, general manager, salesman, parts manager, business manager, etc) was pleasant, patient, knowledgeable and transparent. At no point did I feel pressured or misled. Such as stark contrast from other dealerships in which I'm used to walking in on the defensive and wary of being ripped off. Not here. Towards the end, I felt more like I was hanging out with them rather than doing a major purchase. Honestly, they treat costumers the way they'd like to be treated. That was on the people side. As for the car itself, that was as much of a gem as the staff... It was a 2021 Forester Certified Pre-Owned in mint condition! I work on my own cars so I inspected it thoroughly...for rust, worn belts, leaking gaskets, etc. Not only was everything working as it should, but Brewster Subaru had already done the work to the car (in order to qualify as a CPO) that I was prepared to do myself. Yes, I ended up spending more than I had budgeted, but ended up with a much better car and added peace of mind. Not only am I and my wife very satisfied with our purchase, but I'm now going to start bringing my other (older) Subaru for service--even though I live in Queens and there are closer dealerships to me. I am in no way affiliated to this dealership. My review is genuine. Do yourselves a favor and go here first!
