I recieved a notice from the dealership to buy back my car, I had purchased 2 years ago. I went to the dealership just to browse and appraise my vehicle. I had shown interest in a particular vehicle and I car, I had purchased 2 years ago. I went to the dealership just to browse and appraise my vehicle. I had shown interest in a particular vehicle and I was told only a soft inquiry would be pulled after I had expressed to the salesperson I didn't want any hard pulls and I was only browsing. That was a lie and they did do a hard pull. I received an instant notification sent directly to my email while I was sitting in the dealership and it confirmed a hard pull was now on my credit report.I confronted the salesman for lying and he was combative. Later he did apologize and stated he used the wrong verbiage. Things did get a little better and he was able to redeem himself. I picked a car out and We sold our vehicle back to the dealership and gave them a $4,000 down payment for our new vehicle.(originally $3,000 down payment was agreed but that's a different story). As of today our vehicle has a recall, it now has to be serviced and we are out of a vehicle for the next 3 days for repairs. Richard agreed to pay my 1st car note for the inconvenience and his company is now reneging on the agreement. Stating "there is no recall on the federal website". I offered a solution and told them to call jaguar and confirm the recall themselves and they won't. His solution was for me is to bring the car back. This is after I have already paid them $4,000 for the car , sold them my old car, gave them the title, the keys, transfered my plates over to the new car, and transferred my new vehicle to my car insurance. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM EVER. More
