Purchase of 2016 CX-5 I would like to say Thank you to Rick Katz for helping us to find and to purchase our 2016 Mazda CX-5. Rick was our sales consultant back in September I would like to say Thank you to Rick Katz for helping us to find and to purchase our 2016 Mazda CX-5. Rick was our sales consultant back in September 2018. This is so late because I thought I had sent out a review earlier, didnt see it online so I am resending! I really must make sure that Rick gets credit where it is due. Give Rick a bonus! My husband and I came to the dealership after doing much research about the Mazda CX-5. We shopped for months. Seems we always came back to the Capistrano Mazda website. Its very straightforward and informative, making it easy to shop. When we got to the dealership later in the day we were met by Rick Katz. Right away we like him. Rick is a real, genuine person who is very easy to relate to and makes you feel comfortable being you. He has a wonderful sense of humor and a great East Coast accent. We did tease him about the accent because we actually did enjoy it. Very refreshing and fun buying a car with Ricks help. We felt like we were dealing with honesty and straight up information. No hard sell. What a relief. Our decision ended up being between two cars and Rick was extremely patient as he gave us great service and warmth along with it. I felt like everyone at the dealership was friendly and comfortable but I do recommend you ask for Rick if you shop at Capistrano Mazda. I would also like to say thank you to Chris Campo in Finance. Believe it or not we actually had fun and lots of laughing filling out all the paperwork and chatting with Chris as we went. He is full of zest and life and is a blast to be around. Abounding in energy and humor, but a very genuine person and serious when necessary. What a great combination in one person. He was a blessing. We closed down the place as shopping and paperwork, etc....takes time and we did get a late start in the day. Nonetheless, Rick and Chris were very patient. Rick must have worked 3 hrs or so overtime to make sure we went home happy. Too many words here but could not leave anything out!! Thank you Rick and Chris! We are loving the car we chose. Lisa More
