The customer service is terrible I found a vehicle I was interested in on Cars.com. It was being sold by Gateway. I emailed them to have them contact me to answer a question for me. I found a vehicle I was interested in on Cars.com. It was being sold by Gateway. I emailed them to have them contact me to answer a question for me. I was impressed by the instant response i got and the early morning phone call I received by Savannah Malme. I asked her if the vehicle I was interested in had any rust on it and let her know I lived almost 2 hours away. With some hesitation, she said I dont think so. I had a feeling she was sitting at a desk and was looking at the same pictures I was. I should have followed my gut feelig but took her word for it. So she set me up for an appointment the following Saturday 8/26 at 2pm. She asked if I knew where I was going and I told her no and she said she would send me a map. That never happened. On the day of the appointment I realized there are several different locations. I emailed her that morning to find out which one I should go to but she must have not been working. So I ended up going to the wrong one in a city I didnt know. I was not pleased. So when i left that location, I told the lady at the desk to call the man I had an appointment with to tell him I was on my way since I was going to be late. I believe his name was Robert. When I got to the correct location, Robert wasnt availabe and I had to deal with someone else. His name was L.C. I told him what I was there to see and he pulled it around. The vehicle was full of rust. It took me all of 5 seconds to know I was not interested. The whole trip was one big waste of time and money for me. All this could have been avoided had Savannah actually done her job and taken the time to find out the information I asked for. 5 hours of my time, gas money, and alot of frustration traded for about 15 total minutes of several employees time and they got paid for it. Ridiculous! More
