We ended up test driving the exact vehicles we asked for, so it started making our decision simple. We ended up buying our vehicle that day (Honda CRV Hybrid), despite having already planned visits to other dealerships. Even though the car ran only 16700 miles the year was 2018. I bought it for 24700 which I think it's a bit high for the year of manufacture. But the car is in mint condition. My only concern was the business managers or the financial assistant was likely bit pushy to purchase on extended warranty. They should give some good consideration for old year cars. Our only problem with our deal was when we got handed off to the business manager before delivery. He tried to sell us an extended warranty, 8years/100k miles, for $1937 and that was after two higher quotes. We declined and came home and did a little homework...the exact same warranty through another dealer was $1187! These Hondacare warranties are honored by all Honda dealers so it doesn't matter what dealer you buy from. I contacted the business manager at Valley Honda and we were told they could only come within $50 of my other quote! Needless to say we did not buy the extended warranty from Valley Honda. We were very happy with the price of our car but buyer beware when they try to sell you an extended warranty. More
