My previous car buying experiences were stressful and unpleasant. As soon as you drive onto their lots, you're surrounded by pushy salesmen who don't take "No" for an answer. I did my initial 'shopping' on the internet and found what I was looking for quickly and with plenty of information. After calling to ensure the car was still available, I drove the 1 1/2 hours to Deland to meet with Russell. On arriving, I was greeted pleasantly by a couple of the guys who fetched Russell while I wandered unmollested around the lot. I was immediately impressed with Russell's knowledge and explanation of the car, a 2009 Nissan Murano SL. It wasn't just "Here's the wipers and there's the seat adjusters" type of overview, but a thorough description and demonstration of everthing from the intelligent key to the automatic rear door. The test drive was just as impressive and not just a drive around the block. By the time we got back to the dealership, I was absolutely sold not only on the car, but also on RC Hill. While completing the paperwork, Tim and Russell both took the time to explain warranties, financing and everything else. There was zero haggling as their price was lower than anything I'd found in the area. They gave me more than I could have expected from my old car and I ended up paying much less than I was expecting before I drove onto the lot. The whole experience was extremely pleasant and, after living with the new car for two weeks not, I'm still 100% satisfied with Russell, Tim and RC Hill. More

We were greeted promptiy by Russell Ervast when we walked onto the lot. One of the things I noticed was there was no high pressure or pushiness on Russels part, which was appreciated. I arrived very early Monday morning before the dealership fully opened but Russell took time away from opening to help me find the 2 cars on the lot I was interested in. He explained up front that the dealership priced its cars based on the best price available for the customer. It confirmed the favorable prices I saw in my research on the dealership website the weekend before. Russell didn't make much small talk when I stepped into the vehicle I had chosen for a test drive. Instead he told me about the car and took his time showing it to me. After test driving the vehicle he explained that we would work the numbers and if I was happy we could deal and if I wasn't I was free not to take it. I liked the out he gave me. It relieved a lot of pressure. After all, I didn't need added pressure that the pressure of making a big ticket item purchase already provided in and of itself. I think the relief of the pressure of the sale by the dealership helped me relax enough to decide I really wanted the vehicle. It was very likely I would not have made the same decision if I was working with a high pressure dealership. High pressure automatically raises my suspicions. Russell worked well with the finance department to get the deal I explained to him I wanted. He stuck with that which I appreciated. While I was in finance, he moved everything from my old car to the new one. I got home and realized I forgot about the garage door opener I always keep on the car visor. To my surprise he had remembered that small but huge detail. More
