I was searching for a particular vehicle (RAM 1500) on "truecar.com", and found an exact match at R.C. Hill Mitsubishi, Deland, FL. I submitted a request for more information, and had barely logged off w "truecar.com", and found an exact match at R.C. Hill Mitsubishi, Deland, FL. I submitted a request for more information, and had barely logged off when I received a phone call from Mike Gray. After discussing the vehicle, and my financial requirements, Mike said he would crunch some numbers and get back to me, which he did very promptly. The numbers were close to the requirements I had stipulated, the variable being the value of my trade in, which understandably they needed to see in order to accurately appraise. I drove to the dealership (approximately 100 miles). Mike happened to be off that day, and Russell took over the deal. The appraisal of my trade in, and the truck were very fair. Russell presented the numbers very efficiently and understandably. The deal was within $20.00 per month of my requirements, and we closed the deal. My overall experience with R.C. Hill was as pleasant as buying a vehicle can be. Everyone I was involved with was efficient and professional. Being a non-commission dealership, there was no negotiation. Everything was presented in a clear, comprehensible, no pressure, no nonsense manner, which I appreciate. I would refer anyone I know to R.C. Hill for a new or used vehicle purchase. I was very pleased with the professional service and attention by Mike and Russell. More

I had not visited this dealership in over 20 yrs when I I had not visited this dealership in over 20 yrs when I used to bring my 1991 Mitsubishi Mirage here for service. I just had a terrible experien I had not visited this dealership in over 20 yrs when I used to bring my 1991 Mitsubishi Mirage here for service. I just had a terrible experience with a "Tent Sale" scam from a dealer in Bushnell, Florida. After I had the vehicle for 5 days it was repossessed by the Sheriff's Dept. It so happens that the vehicle was involved in a accident and was not disclosed to us by these "thieves" and the title was BRANDED and therefore the bank pulled the financing. I came to RC Hill and spoke with Russel who was very supportive of my situation. He did the a great job in explaining some options and he did some legwork to assure me that my credit had not been damaged in this fiasco. I returned 2 days later with my wife and our trade in. We were looking at a late model Outlander and had one picked that we were interested. Due to customer back up Russel introduced me to Jeff who would work with me and take a test ride. Not only the the outstanding team of Russel and Jeff get me approved for the vehicle but were able to secure financing for a brand new 2013 Outlander for almost the same terms as the used vehicle. The financial manager was also fantastic. His explanations of the terms and options to us made great sense, and we took the options he recommended. Bottom line: I went from a 2007 Outlander with 75,000 miles to a brand new 2013 Outlander Sport with 100,000 miles warranty including roadside assistance gap insurance and lifetime oil changes for $20.00 per month more. I will never deal with anyone by R.C. Hill ever again, they are without a doubt the best dealership in Central Florida. More

I drove 1 1/2 and let me tell you was worth it. I show up and park and right away one friendly employee take care of me and approach to help me, 1 minute after I was on Russell desk feeling like home and very welcome, the all process was fast and before I know it, I was driving back to Ocala Fl with a big smile, not only for the new car, the service and the personalized help very impressive. It was a pleasure dealing with Russell. He listened to us and gave us exactly what we wanted. We were treated with respect. He told us exactly what to expect and never gave us false expectations. R.C. Hill Mitsubishi and its employees were a breath of fresh air! I'm used to the high pressure (fake attitude) side of car shopping, where you're instantly swarmed by a pack of Jackal salesman trying to fresh air! I'm used to the high pressure (fake attitude) side of car shopping, where you're instantly swarmed by a pack of Jackal salesman trying to force a purchase. The experiences I have had at dealerships in the past have been quite disheartning and highly stressful. My experience at R.C. Hill was entirely different. I ended up purchasing a 2009 BMW 325i, with Russell as my salesman. He explained how the dealership does business; ie. no haggle pricing, low pressure, etc. I highly valued this method of salesmanship and in the end was extremely satisfied with the acquisition. I highly recommend this dealership and will return to R.C. Hill when I'm ready to purchase another vehicle. More

I received a flyer in the mail for this locaton and called and Russell convinced me to go to the dealership to see if they could help me. I went right down and he showed me a car I was there for 2 1/2 called and Russell convinced me to go to the dealership to see if they could help me. I went right down and he showed me a car I was there for 2 1/2 hours waiting on everything to get finalized. I told hm a payment that I wanted to be in and he assured me that should not be a problem. He kept going back and forth and would say give me 5 more minutes. The last time he came back I said i was tired and was going home he said I am waiting on 2 more banks to get back with us. Trying to keep the payments where I would like them. That was on Sat @ 2:30pm I left @ 5:00pm he assured me he would call me in just a bit. Well guess what no call and it is 5:00pm on Monday I even sent him an e-mail Monday morning and no response. I called the dealership @ 4:45pm and ask to speak to some-one in charge they told me it would be Tim or Tom so I stayed on hold 2 times and guess what they can not be found. I asked for Mr. RC Hill and he was not there they took my phone number and name and said they would have Tim or Tom call me. Well guess what no call. I was okay if they could not help me and get my payments where I needed to be but no response is just bad customer service. I would never recommend them to anyone and I would never go back to that place. A 2 minute phone call from Russell with an answer would have been nice since he told me we are not like other dealers...REALLY!!!!! Wow no call from the managers but as I am writing this Russell decides to call I asked him why call me now because I have left word for a manager to call me. More

My previous car buying experiences were stressful and unpleasant. As soon as you drive onto their lots, you're surrounded by pushy salesmen who don't take "No" for an answer. RC Hill couldn't be more d unpleasant. As soon as you drive onto their lots, you're surrounded by pushy salesmen who don't take "No" for an answer. RC Hill couldn't be more different! I did my initial 'shopping' on the internet and found what I was looking for quickly and with plenty of information. After calling to ensure the car was still available, I drove the 1 1/2 hours to Deland to meet with Russell. On arriving, I was greeted pleasantly by a couple of the guys who fetched Russell while I wandered unmollested around the lot. I was immediately impressed with Russell's knowledge and explanation of the car, a 2009 Nissan Murano SL. It wasn't just "Here's the wipers and there's the seat adjusters" type of overview, but a thorough description and demonstration of everthing from the intelligent key to the automatic rear door. The test drive was just as impressive and not just a drive around the block. By the time we got back to the dealership, I was absolutely sold not only on the car, but also on RC Hill. While completing the paperwork, Tim and Russell both took the time to explain warranties, financing and everything else. There was zero haggling as their price was lower than anything I'd found in the area. They gave me more than I could have expected from my old car and I ended up paying much less than I was expecting before I drove onto the lot. The whole experience was extremely pleasant and, after living with the new car for two weeks not, I'm still 100% satisfied with Russell, Tim and RC Hill. More
