Every staff member was friendly and went out of their way to help me find a vehicle. I was really in dire need, my previous vehicle randomly incinerated it's brain. Many thanks truly. I asked Russ if there was any damage to the vehicle and he mentioned a pebble mark on the driver's door but the rest of the car was clean. The CARFAX showed no accidents and a single owner. I bought the car and it arrived with a cracked rear quarter panel on the passenger side and damage to the rear bumper as if it had been in an accident. The front wheel liner was missing on the passenger side and the front bumper impact bar skid plate (a thick metal piece) had been sheared off on one side. Any sort of inspection or walk around the car would easily note this damage, yet he said the only visual damage he could see was a single pebble mark. I spoke to him about the poor condition of the vehicle and was basically told it was my fault for trusting him. I am filing a complaint with the Ohio Attorney General and BBB. I would recommend any one else in a similar situation (there appears to be quite a few!) to do the same. More

I expressed concern about the fact that Ohio doesn't have inspections and as it was storming was not able to see the frame. Russ assured me that their vehicles are checked out, and in fact said that I was buying the best truck on the lot. When I got it back to PA. , I took it in for the state inspection and was informed that the back brakes, rotors, and wheel cylinders were shot. The bigger problem is that the frame was so rotted that it will require 6000 dollars in repairs. Russ said they have no legal obligation to help out, so I am pursuing a civil case and have talked to the police about them filing criminal charged for selling an unsafe vehicle. More

Once they fixed the broken windshield on my dime they wouldn’t budge to fix anything. They were blabbing on about wholesale xxxxxxxx, but the truth was they didn’t give a crap. They let it go off the lot with anifreeze in the windshield wiper fluid container. Trash. Don’t buy from them. More

Was told at signing by finance “manager” Justin Britt I could cancel the warranty at any time. Of course, this warranty proved to be useless, and cost me about $2400. I decided to cancel the warranty in December. I called finance “manager” Justin Britt to gather information on how to cancel. He acted dumbfounded and said he’d “speak with his sales rep” and get back to me. I don’t think this “sales rep” even exists, honestly. I’m pretty sure he just said what he needed to say to get me off the phone. That was the last time I ever spoke to him. I called him back 7 more times, every other day, over a two week period and he ignored every call. At first I was wondering what was going on, thinking this must be the busiest guy on the planet. But then things started to become obvious to me. He was clearly hiding behind the poor receptionist, who was the nicest girl, but what more could she do other than let him know I had reached out multiple times? I could hear it in her voice every time I called. She could read what was going on. So anyway, my contract stated that in order to cancel, I needed to send written notice of cancellation, a notarized odometer statement and copy of contract to either the selling dealer or the warranty service provider and a refund would be issued within 30 days. So I gathered up everything, snapped pictures of all my forms for safekeeping, then sent all the paperwork via certified mail into the warranty service provider. I waited the full 30 days. Wouldn't you know it, I didn’t hear a peep? So I had to begin again the process of calling this finance “manager” over and over again, until I felt that I had called enough times to have made a genuine good-faith effort to resolve this. I called 4 more times over a 12 day period, giving him plenty of time in between to return my call. I was well aware he was never going to return my call. (That’s eleven total attempts to contact this guy, and he ignored every one of them) Finally had to send all the pictures and records of my cancellation and contact attempts into the Ohio Attorney General and file a consumer complaint in order to get the ball rolling. Only after they stepped in did Yalcars finally figure out how to use a phone and call me and issue the refund. It took 85 days. I’m sure he was hoping I’d just go away and keep the money. I absolutely regret ever meeting finance “manager” Justin Britt. My experience was completely ridiculous. I was never once a jerk to this guy. Never. All I did was buy a car off him and then he proceeded to try and rip me off for a few more thousand dollars, like a common scam artist. You’ve been warned. This is how Yalcars does business. Edit: I will update this review to reflect that Melissa Yalcin did indeed call me at the end of the day to apologize multiple times, and assure me that steps are being taken to ensure this doesn’t happen in the future.
