Bad experience with the financial guy Ryan. He was not very forthcoming. I wanted the 4.99% rate at 60 momths. He said 5.99 was better even if I have excellent credit the dealership does not offer 4.99% even with $10k down. This was an outright lie , I found out later. We discussed these with Hanzel but he backed up Ryan. My husband wanted the car so he talked me into signing so we could go home. I was so tired, frustrated, and upset . It should not be this way. We had bought several cars over the years.. this was my worst experience! More

I was looking for the incredibly difficult to find Elantra N, in white, manual transmission. A few weeks ago, I called on one that I had seen online to inquire if it was available. Being from Arizon Elantra N, in white, manual transmission. A few weeks ago, I called on one that I had seen online to inquire if it was available. Being from Arizona, Puente Hills location is about 330 miles from home. I don't mind. I was informed that the car was indeed on the way, but it was already sold. This was unfortunate, but Mr. Alvarez asked if I would like to be added to a list if anything changed. I agreed. Last weekend, 5/20/2023, I got a call from Janet who told me that the deal for the car had fallen through and that the car was now available if I was still interested. Not being able to believe my luck, as again, these cars, and specifically this set up (white/manual) are impossible to find anywhere, I called back immediately. I was then given over to Mr. Alvarez to start the deal over the phone. Again, I'm in Arizona. After putting the $2K down over the phone, and convincing my wife of how imperative it was for us to make the trip, like RIGHT NOW, we got in the car and drove the 5 1/2 hours to sign all the papers. The process was seamless as I didn't need to be sold or pressured. They had everything ready for me when we arrived. I really did just do a "sign then drive" type thing. Not only that, before I even made the trip, just to ensure I was getting a good deal, Mr. Alvarez even face timed me to show me the car, which was brand spanking new, 17 miles, on the showroom floor. After finishing the paperwork, I asked if I would be able to leave the car on the lot over night, since I didn't really want to drive it off after that long of a trip and I was a bit rusty at manual transmission, they agreed. I was just asked to come pick it up first thing the next morning. This is a TL;DR; scenario. But the point is that the folks at Puente Hills Hyundai, and specifically Mr. Ray Alvarez, did everything they could to make this car buy a smooth and painless as possible. Even to the point of accommodating me about leaving the car on the lot. There aren't an awful lot of business that will be so customer-friendly anymore these days, which is a shame. But it is sure nice when you happen to work with one of the few remaining. The simple fact that he called someone from out of town about a local deal speaks volumes. I cannot thank them enough. I am so happy with my purchase. More
