Well worth the trip from St. Louis. Because of previously disappointing experiences with dealers in my area, I decided to explore an "out of state" purchase for the first time even thou Because of previously disappointing experiences with dealers in my area, I decided to explore an "out of state" purchase for the first time even though I was very skeptical that it would be any different. From our first contact via phone, Shawn Risner was straight forward, attentive, and very professional. As we discussed a potential purchase over the next few weeks, he patiently answered my many questions, worked diligently to put a deal in place, and in the process gained my trust, which is no easy task. Shawn reassured me that I would not be disappointed dealing with him and Roush Honda. So, I flew to Columbus and drove back with a new Crosstour! Shawn, along with Richard Broderick in Finance, demonstrated exceptional customer service throughout the entire process with no games, surprises, or pushy tactics. Shawn didn't forget about me after the sale either. He followed up to be sure I got back home safely and continues to answer any questions I may have. I purchased from Roush, because of Shawn Risner and intend to again in the future. More

Shawn Risner is the only car sales consultant that I trust other than my own brother, Matt Reynolds at McDaniel Auto Group in Marion, Ohio. I bought a new Honda Accord a few months ago and have been meaning to write a review to share my experience and give Shawn the credit he deserves. I am that annoying customer that no sales rep wants to deal with because I want the absolute best deal in which the dealership makes minimal or no profit from my purchase, and I want perfection. Furthermore, I do not trust car dealerships. I've always perceived the majority of car salesman to be misleading, dishonest, and manipulative. However, after visiting just about every Honda dealer in central Ohio, I bought my first brand new car at Roush Honda from Shawn Risner. He was incredibly honest, transparent, and professional. Shawn kept his word that he would beat any other dealers' best offer. He didn't pressure me at all and simply told me the facts remaining completely truthful and transparent the entire time, no gimmicks. Shawn has earned my trust, which is very difficult to do. He even earned the trust of my father who has worked at Honda for over 20 years. I couldn't be happier with my new Accord and the service I received at Roush. Efficient Honda CRV purchase I was pretty certain that I wanted a CRV Touring model based on my research. Shawn greeted me immediately, listened to my requirements, and quickly c I was pretty certain that I wanted a CRV Touring model based on my research. Shawn greeted me immediately, listened to my requirements, and quickly confirmed that I was on track. After showing me the car and discussing the highlights, Shawn set-up a test drive. This was not my first new car purchase, and I appreciated that he offered a solo test drive so I could concentrate on the vehicle. Shawn had a trade-in estimate ready when I returned and we dove deeper into finding the specific car I wanted. Shawn went over my options in terms of 2015 vs 2016, financing, and vehicle options in a professional manner. He read my preferences correctly and got right down to business and the bottom line. We settled the deal in the space of a few hours and my new car was ready in 2 days. Shawn and Will took good care of me moving efficiently but thoroughly through the purchase and familiarization process. I've never had such a comprehensive introduction to my vehicle as what Shawn provided. I haven't had to look up a single feature to figure it out in 2 weeks of ownership and the Touring model has a lot of features. Shawn went the extra mile to make sure I was all set to go, even putting on my new registration sticker for me. The comprehensive customer service approach offered by Roush was part of what resulted in making my purchase there. Shawn and Will demonstrated it during the buying process and I expect the service department to live up to their standards. The hours alone put them on the right track. More

Shawn Riser brought us back after 5 weeks! Began my search with Honda for a new SUV, liked Shawn Riser and the CR-V a lo,t but wanted to continue to look. Over the weeks I test drove similar vehicles at 7 different dealers. When time to make final decision, couldn't get the salesmanship of Shawn out of my mind or the beautiful Honda CR-V. I returned for one final look, Shawn made it so easy, and I leased the CR-V on the spot . My husband was with me, also impressed, and ended up leasing a new vehicle himself as well. Financial matters well explained by Will and were introduced to several other charming managers. 2016 Accord...Fantastic experience!!! Decided to take a quick trip to Roush in order to "look" at an Accord that my husband saw on the lot and thought I may like. I had absolutely no inte Decided to take a quick trip to Roush in order to "look" at an Accord that my husband saw on the lot and thought I may like. I had absolutely no intention of buying that day nor did I actually believe I would like the car enough to even give it a second thought. Well, I loved it. It may have been the intoxication of the new car smell or just the fact that this is a beautiful car that rides exceptionally well but whatever the reason, I was smitten. I explained to Shawn that I was interested, however had three months left on my current lease and was "upside down" which left me no choice but to walk away and wait until December. Shawn was able to work something out that allowed me to purchase the car right then without rolling over any money from my lease. (He was able to think outside of the box which is a quality that is extremely hard to come by these days) Better still, I didn't spend my entire day inside of a dealership (a total of 2.5 hours) and they didn't push me to purchase anything extra. It was so refreshing!! I had a terrible experience with Byers Chevy and Lindsay Honda and decided that all dealers/sales associates were (insert bad word here) BUT SHAWN RISNER was able to change that perception and make my experience not only fun but worthwhile. If this dealership continues treating customers they way they should be treated, I will forever shop at Roush Honda!!!! I don't want to forget the other two people I worked with so bear with me. Elise Swingle was funny, sweet, prompt with replies and was not at all pushy. Karen Matthews was fun, to the point and not at all like anyone I have ever dealt with where vehicle financing is concerned. Didn't try to sell anything to me that I didn't want and explained some things that helped me better understand what services would best fit my needs.
