UPDATE: I was contacted and Bourne's made it right. I am very satisfied now and would consider another purchase from them. At first, I didn't expect much from a used dealership but after reading a I am very satisfied now and would consider another purchase from them. At first, I didn't expect much from a used dealership but after reading almost 100% positive reviews, I decided to pursue a 2007 Honda they had for sale. I planned to fly out from DC and drive the car back because the trim level is hard to find. I sent an inquiry through and Shawn Weir replied. I asked for pictures of the tires (as there were no clear pictures of them) to which I received a reply that they were in "excellent condition". I sent another e-mail describing my situation, asking Mr. Weir to give the car a good assessment and to give me a call so that I could leave a deposit. After two days and no response, I decided to give Mr. Weir a call and left a deposit and told him my plans to fly out. We spoke again and I confirmed my travel plans and I was assured the car was ready to go. I arrived that day and asked for Mr. Weir and I introduced myself to him and received a strange look from him. He didn't know who I was and wasn't expecting me. The car was brought to me, fully warmed up, and I test drove it around. The car ran perfectly but still had dog hair from a previous owner and visible dirt on the seats. Every plastic part was lathered in Armor all protectant but I assume this is a standard for them. I had to ask twice for the dirt to be cleaned, there was still dirt but it was much better. I drove 500 miles back to DC without incident. I got it registered and tagged and started the car a few days later and noticed that it would stall almost everytime I would clutch in while driving cold. On one occasion, I started it and went inside my house and came back outside to find the engine off. It also idled rough and ran rich. It ran perfectly fine once warmed up. I contacted Mr. Weir and after not hearing back for three days, I contacted Mr. Saunders, who directed me to the service manager. Mr. Clark told me this wasn't an issue for them and there was nothing he could do about it as they would incur no costs for the repairs needed. I made Mr. Saunders aware of the situation and have not received a response. I did my own research and had my mechanic perform a valve adjustment and change the spark plugs, which fixed the issue. The clearances on the valves were out of spec and had most likely been that way when I purchased the car. So much for their "rigorous safety and maintenance inspection". On the other hand, Mr. Machado was great to work with and I really appreciated his help and professionalism. More

This was my second purchase at Bournes Auto. I have referred multiple people to the dealership based on the level of service I have experienced. Jake was attentive and and Shawn worked on getting me t referred multiple people to the dealership based on the level of service I have experienced. Jake was attentive and and Shawn worked on getting me the best deal for my trade. The convenience of being able to use their mobile site and desktop site to review inventory was helpful Made the entire experience easy. From the minute I walked in, to the time I walked out, the staff at Bourne Auto could not have been more helpful. This was my 5th car ( 2 Volvo S80s, 2 Saab 9 5, and 1 Mercedes c300) purchased at Bourne's. I love the no hassle pricing and always get great value for the price paid. Had a great experience at Bourne's Auto and ending up purchasing our used Jeep Liberty here after shopping around at several other dealerships where the customer service was awful and where we were treat purchasing our used Jeep Liberty here after shopping around at several other dealerships where the customer service was awful and where we were treated very poorly. Dan's easy-going and no-pressure attitude was a nice change. Also, being able to take the car out on a test-drive without the salesperson is infinitely better. The only small negative would be the no-negotiation on price. However, since they are listed as "no haggle" on their website, they were firm but still nice about it. Overall, a very good experience with Bourne's Auto. We're loving our Jeep Liberty so far....hopefully there will be no bad review to follow ;) More

All in all a good place. Went in knowing I wanted the car and wasn't gonna haggle or anything just wanted it. So they helped me out with financing and all the paper work including swapping my plates, was ver and wasn't gonna haggle or anything just wanted it. Only thing I didn't like was they were busy when I went in for final deal and had to wait and didn't feel that was cool, they knew I was coming to throw them money and was like I just want to drive off with my car. Overall good place though. More

I purchased a car from Dave Olson who was really helpful in answering all my questions about what would be the right car for me. Also Shaun was great deal with and got us a great rate and a nice low monthl in answering all my questions about what would be the right car for me. When my pregnant wife and I went to pick up the car we had a quite the adventure as my wifes water broke right there in the showroom. We knew we had time to get to the hospital but I think Dave wasn't to sure so he ran out the door and quickly changed our plates and got the new ones on and pulled the car right out front. We made it to the hospital in plenty of time and now have a healthy baby boy and for being so helpful and springing to action his middle name is David ( thanks again Dave if you read this). All in all the people at Bournes will always hold a special place in our hearts. Thanks again guys. Ps sorry to Dan for having him have to wipe up my wifes little spill lol. More
