Made a deal with the salesman. Took my credit card of $1000 to hold for pickup and payment the next day. Arrived with my trade and a cashiers check the next morning. Walked in and was told that they decided to not honor the deal, That they considered my trade in value was too high and wanted two thousand more. Knowing I had the appointment to pick it up with money in hand and drove an hour to collect it. They said that the salesman had not run my credit card the night before so there was no contract. The manager said that the salesman should not have made the deal. For two thousand more I could still purchase the vehicle. This email was sent to me that morning as I was headed to pick it up. Needless to say, stopped me at the door and said the deal was off 3 hours after this email was send, that I didn’t see until they told me when I walked in. So, my opinion of how they handled this was extremely poor. I’d rate them lower if I could. This is the email copied and pasted, just my name blacked out. Good Morning T*****, Just to confirm 55,000 plus tax ,reg fee ,doc fee . The ins and registry is closed today .You will transfer plates today and drive the vehicle home . On monday you will have the new registration emailed to you .You can come here for the inspection or get it close to home you will have 5 days .Can you please send me a copy of your drivers license and your insurance agents name and address so I can have the paper work ready when you arrive . You will then meet with the finance manager who will collect the check and sighn the documents.I look forward to seeing you. . More
