Very disappointed in the experience my daughter had
buying her first car from Herlong Ford. She bought a 2014 Dodge Durango with over 100,000 miles on it. She paid over the blue book value of the car,

She paid over the blue book value of the car, even if the car had been in good condition, which it was not. The tires were dry-rotted & mis-matched, the brakes were gone, and it leaked oil. One tire experienced a severe, dangerous, blowout shortly after purchase, which we kept to show the dealership if needed. Her inexperience cost her dearly in this exchange. After many phone calls & complaints, the offer to replace the tires at cost was given. The "cost" on the tires was slightly below what I could get them here at retail without driving to North Augusta from Columbia. She learned a very valuable life lesson here and I hope this review encourages other naive buyers to do their research on vehicles and have an independent mechanic check them out before committing. I feel like this exchange is what gives car dealerships the stereotypical bad image we see portrayed so often.
