We took our Lincoln MkT to Southern Ford to look at a clear coat peeling issue back on Wednesday January 31st to drop it off for the 1st of February. While there we talked to our longtime service advisor Stephanie Spangler and she brought out the service manager Jeff Dobson to look at the issue. He said they no longer have a body shop so he referred us to who they use which is Bay Custom Auto Bidy Shop. We immediately drove to Bay Custom in Denbigh Blvd and talked to their lead estimator who took a cursory look then asked us to come back at a later date so that they could write it up. We did that soon after and called them to follow up and they said that we would not hear anything through them but to call Southern Ford. After multiple attempts to check on the status at Southern Ford we have yet to obtain a status of this issue and a way forward from Ford or Lincoln about this very disappointing problem. I have done my own research and this is unfortunately a known issue with this Lincoln model. More
