I am a returning customer, and unfortunately, this experience was very disappointing compared with my first purchase from Joyce Honda in 2023. At that time, we had an excellent experience, largely because of our fabulous salesperson, Rolando, who was professional, knowledgeable, and exceptional throughout the entire process. This time, however, our experience with the Finance Department was very different. We were initially told that we were pre-approved based on the advertised offer. My husband and I both have credit scores in the mid-800s, so we were confident that we would qualify for competitive financing. Once we began working with Efrain in Finance, however, the situation changed. We were told that we would need someone else to apply for the loan in order to obtain the vehicle we wanted. We were also presented with a monthly payment that increased from approximately $250 to $389—an increase that amounted to roughly $9,000 over the course of the financing. We found this extremely concerning and felt that the financing process was not transparent. Rather than continue with an arrangement we were uncomfortable with, we went to another nearby dealership. Within less than three hours, we were driving away in a brand-new vehicle, and the entire experience was professional, straightforward, and respectful. We truly felt valued as customers. It is unfortunate that our second experience with Joyce Honda was so different from our first. I would encourage customers to carefully review all financing terms, compare offers, and make sure they fully understand the numbers before signing anything. While I still appreciate the excellent service we received from Rolando in 2023, our recent experience with the Finance Department has unfortunately left us questioning whether we would return to Joyce Honda again.
