Dealership did not call me back. I left approx 50 messages. Service dept took 6 weeks to fix my prob. Sales dept promised a 200 dollar referral to my son which never happened. Matt, I left approx 50 messages. Service dept took 6 weeks to fix my prob. Sales dept promised a 200 dollar referral to my son which never happened. Matt, Roger and Scott in sales treated me poorly. Keith, Janelle, Tammy and Danielle in service could have cared less in my opinion. More

We purchased a 2026 Kia Sportage and I took it in for my first service this past week. Initially I tried to schedule service online but the earliest appointment I could get for just an oil:filter change and first service this past week. Initially I tried to schedule service online but the earliest appointment I could get for just an oil:filter change and tires rotated was going to be about a month. I thought that’s ridiculous so I called and they had a cancellation so I got it in the next day. I talked to the service technician and noticed that their service interval is 5K instead of 8K that KIA recommends.about a 30% increase in service required. In addition for many of their required service they use the severe service recommendations. Finally when you buy the car at Jim Butler they give you a lifetime powertrain warranty but only if you have it serviced at their dealership. In addition their prices for service are not competitive. $100 for an oil change. I believe they increase the required service because the service department is a separate profit center and that’s where they make their money so they can offer lower prices on sale if the cars they sell. All in all I will be following Kia’s recommended service requirements and will probably not be back unless it’s a warranty or recall issue. They were very nice but I can do better elsewhere. Would not recommend them for service. Too expensive. More

As always, Keith was awesome and very helpful. We had been having on and off problems with our horn and was just outside the warranty on it. He was able to talk to someone and get it covered. I want to start by saying Keith is an incredible Service Advisor and honestly might be the only reason (outside of my warranty) that I continue to come back to Jim Butler. With that being said, lets tal Advisor and honestly might be the only reason (outside of my warranty) that I continue to come back to Jim Butler. With that being said, lets talk about the reasons why I would NOT come back to Jim Butler. My appointment for an oil change, dent repair and wheel repair was on July 1. The day before my appointment, I received a reminder text. I replied to the message asking if J.B. offers any shuttles or curtesy vehicles so that I would be able to go to work since the appointment was for several items and expected to be several hours. I was told J.B. only offers a 1 way Uber which is very disappointing as other local dealerships are much more accommodating. I also asked if my car would be finished by 3pm to which they responded with "it should be". The next day I arrived for my appointment and when dropping off the vehicle, I double checked that I would be able to pickup by 3:00. Keith looked puzzeled and told me that this was not possible and that the wheel repair takes 24-48 hours. Had I known this, I would have made the appointment on a day where I could accommodate that. I asked if there was a loaner vehicle I could use in order to keep my appointment and unfortunately, there was not. It was suggested that I leave the car and that they will 100% do the oil change and will attempt to do the dent repair but it was not possible for the wheel repair to occur same day. He suggested I make another appointment on a ay where he could ensure a loaner vehicle would be available. I reluctantly agreed to making the 2nd appointment. When my car was finished, I paid the $30 to Uber back to the dealership. When I was checking out, I asked if I could schedule the wheel repair and I was instructed to book that through Tammie. I am not trying to be mean here, but Tammie was definitely not interested in helping me at all. She had a tone with me from the beginning for some unknown reason and was difficult in getting the appointment scheduled. Once we had settled on a day, I tried to confirm with her that I would be able to have a loaner vehicle since this was a 2 day repair. She told me (again with a tone) that "we do not do that". I told her that Keith had told me that it shouldn't be a problem when I dropped off this morning. She doubled down and said "yeah well we do not typically do that so you will have to talk to him". Mind you, Keith's desk is maybe 10 feet away. Instead of providing basic customer service by simply walking over to Keith to trouble shoot the issue, I then turned around and made 2 steps over to his desk to inquire. Keith was like yeah sure that isn't an issue, and help make the appointment. Again, Keith is truly the #1 thing that is keeping customers. Or at least this customer. More
