I purchased my new vehicle without a test drive due to their 30 day buy back promise and the trust I had in their integrity. I am very happy with my 2002 GMC Envoy. More

My experince with Harbro Sales is a little different, I was selling a vehicle and came across Tim Hare by coincidence. I found that he was easy to discuss the sale with and made it convenient for me to drop off my vehicle. That's when Patrick Mahoney came into the picture. Patrick waited for me on a Friday evening while I was stuck on the MA Pike waiting for a flipped over vehicle to be flat bedded away. Patrick did the paper work and gave me a certified check as promised and off we went. Patrick, I warn you can talk and talk but he does know what he's talking about and he made the experience also nice and easy. Jim More

It is really encouraging to know that there are still out there some honest, kind and, ethical business owners. I have at first spoken to the father "TIM" and because of the impression he made on me while ta there some honest, kind and, ethical business owners. I have at first spoken to the father "TIM" and because of the impression he made on me while talking on the phone, I have driven to his business which is 51 miles away from my house to sell my car for the same amount I was offered at my dealership in my neighborhood. When I got there, I was welcomed by his son "Marc" who went over everything with me in about half an hour and then drove me back home. While on the road, we have had a lenghty conversation about parenting as we are both parents. Our subject turned out to be one of the things we both value most in life. I come to discover that TIM's family business is less about buy/sell than it is about building relationship. Those people are really relationship builders. I look forward to continue doing business with them. More

I definitely used that knowledge when negotiating with the dealership I bought my car from, and felt confident in asking questions and finally making a decision. Tim did not have to explain everything to me like he did, but he took the time to anyway because I think he truly cares about the well-being of his customers. This was our first used car buying experience. We were looking for my daughter's first car and had passed by Harbro Auto in Webster. We saw a car that looked interesting so we went online to Harbro's web looking for my daughter's first car and had passed by Harbro Auto in Webster. I filled out an online request showing exactly what kind of car we were looking including year, make, model, color, etc. That very day I received an email response and a call from Lorraine Maher saying she had a car that met most of our requirements. Unfortunately we weren't exactly ready to buy yet ( I had no idea I'd get that quick of a response). I told Lorraine our time frame and she said she'd continue to look for the car we wanted. She got back to me a few times with different cars but we still weren't quite ready. A few weeks later she dropped me an email saying she thought she had the car we'd been looking for and all our requirements seemed to match up. My daughter and I went down there that day and absolutely loved the vehicle. We took it for a test drive and put a deposit on it right away. Lorraine was so helpful throught the whole process from loan options to extended warrantee options to getting everything set up with the registry. They got the car ready to take home in only a few days!! Tim was there when we went to pick it up and he was also wonderful. This was most definitely the best car buying experience I've ever had and not only will we be back, but we'll send others to Harbro any chance we get!! Thanks everyone at Harbro Auto, Webster!! More

I've never bought a car from a dealership as I'm very wary of them. And I still haven't bought a car from a dealership. Let me explain. After checking out Dealer Rater, I decided to email Harbro Auto the exact car I was looking for since they appeared to be the most reputable dealer on here. I live an hour from the dealership, but I wanted to make sure I dealt with someone I could trust. Tim, one of the owners, called me back the same day to find out more details, noting my price range and specifications. He spent a good chunk of time answering all of my questions about the process. They didn't have a Honda Odyssey on the lot, but he would try to get me one. He checked in with me every other day about his progress (and my progress, as I was looking on my own too). After a lot of searching on both our parts, it appeared I was only going to get the mileage and year I wanted if I bought from a private owner. So Tim actually emailed me some links to private listings that were a good fit for me! He didn't benefit one penny from this. I ended up getting another private sale that he encouraged me to buy, as I wouldn't find a better deal. And I believe he's right. So I didn't buy a car from Harbro, but I can't say enough good things about Tim. if the employees are anything like Tim, they treat everyone right, whether or not they end up being a customer. More
