The service department is also on top of their game; I've dealt with Erin T and Ken B for years and they both know their stuff. They really make an effort to get to know you so that service becomes more of a personal experience. All around a top notch dealership. Honest, no-nonsense, easy going dealership I recently purchased a new vehicle from North Penn VW. This was my second purchase there, the first was 7 years ago, and I returned due to the straigh I recently purchased a new vehicle from North Penn VW. This was my second purchase there, the first was 7 years ago, and I returned due to the straightforward, no nonsense treatment I got the first time. I walked into North Penn 3 weeks ago and asked for Tim N, who I'd worked with before. He wasn't available, so Matt T helped me. Asked me what I was interested in, pulled the car around, and let me go out for a test drive on my own. At the end of the test drive, I told him I'm going to look at other vehicles, he asked if I had any questions, said he'd let Tim know I asked for him, and I was on my way. Tim followed up with me a few days later. I went back for another test drive, and another (I was being indecisive) Tim never pressured me or got frustrated with me. Tim is the best car salesperson I've ever dealt with. He asks what you want, shows you what they've got, and lets the car sell itself. Furthermore, he goes out of his way to get exactly what you want. Both times I've purchased from North Penn, the vehicle they had on the lot had an issue. Both times, Tim simply looked around for exactly configured vehicles at other dealerships, and got me exactly what I wanted. Without me asking, or push. He just said, "ok, give me a day and I'll find what you're looking for." Then called me when it showed up. I asked what the best price was, and he gave it to me immediately without playing any games. No talk of of monthly payments, financing, trade values, or other distractions. Just gave me the best price right off the bat. When I came in to finalize the purchase, Tim had the car ready and waiting, perfectly detailed, and all the paperwork prepared. He was patient while I went over every inch of the car and took it for a quick test drive to make sure everything was good. Then he handed me over to Jason in finance who helped me get the paperwork finished in just a few minutes. No strong-arm selling of add-ons or anything else. I would definitely make another purchase at North Penn when the time comes. This is as good as you can get from a automobile sales organization. More
