I have lived in Delaware since 1998, originally from a small town in upstate NY. After High School I entered the United States Air Force where I had a distinguished and rewarding career as a K-9 handler. After 10 years of serving my country and receiving an honorable discharge, I made the hard choice to start a new career, which enabled me to spend more time with my wife and two boys. I enjoy working for this dealership and have been a Ford Truck guy all my life!

Jeff was absolutely terrific. He was very knowledgeable and had all the answers. He and the dealership were extremely accomodating. They did so much to make sure that I got exactly what I was asking for. and had all the answers. He and the dealership were extremely accomodating. This is the third Ford F150 we've purchased from this dealer. This purchse was for a 2013 Ford Escape. We purchase a new vehicle every 4 years for me and my wife staggered by 2 years. This was our third Escape. We keep coming back because the dealership is always new vehicle every 4 years for me and my wife staggered by 2 years. This was our third Escape. We keep coming back because the dealership is always fair with pricing, and very accomodating with requests. We found Guy Jr. to be very informative about this newly redesigned Escape. Usually through my own research, I know more about the vehicle than the sales staff, however, even though the vehicle was brand new, with major design changes, Guy Jr. knew the vehicle as much as I did. He was very friendly and a pleasure to work with. Todd handeled the transaction of ordering the vehicle, and was always knowledable about the status of our order. We had sold our 2008 Escape, and had to rent a car while we waited for our new one. Todd was always friendly when I called to bug him about the status. Oerall I will very likely return in 4 years to negotiate our next Ford purchase! More

I obtained an internet price on a vehicle that I was interested in. When I went to the dealership the following day, I was told that the quote I was given was wrong and that the price I was quoted was interested in. When I went to the dealership the following day, I was told that the quote I was given was wrong and that the price I was quoted was short by $1,000. Apparently the person who prepared the quote, assumed something that should not have been taken into account. They refused to honor the quote given. Consequently, the good price I thought I was getting was not so good. Also the unit was being used as a demo, but the employee using the unit was smoking in it. The smell was atrocious. Although, they indicated that the smell could be eliminated, I questioned that. The "new car smell" was completely gone. So overall, the experience with this dealer was not what I expected and I don't expect to do business with them in the future. More

I walked into this dealership on a Monday asking about the 2013 Taurus SHO and was greeted right away from a man behind a high positioned desk. Later I found out the mans name is Todd and he's the Sales M the 2013 Taurus SHO and was greeted right away from a man behind a high positioned desk. Later I found out the mans name is Todd and he's the Sales Manager and the tall desk is called a tower. From this vantage point he can survey what's going on throughout the showroom. Todd asked how he could help me and I explained to him my desire for the SHO, Todd explained to me that he didn't have the exact one I was looking for, but he took my name and cell number and said he would give me a call in a few weeks, I said thanks and left the showroom. Being the sort of man that I am I started my search for the SHO on the internet, more sooner than later I was directed to the Carman Lincoln and Ford website, I didn't see it listed in their inventory but I decided to send a message to the dealership anyway, the site informed me that someone would be calling me back within hours. Ms.Christy, the internet associate called me well within a few hours and wanted to verify my request and had a few questions for me. She said she would get back to me with more information and within minutes I was chatting with her again, she told me she had already found several in the tri-state area and I should come into the dealership and go over the details with Todd. When I got to the showroom I was greeted buy a salesman named Jeffery, Jef told me that Todd was busy with another customer but he would be happy to help me. Long story short, I left the dealership without my purchase because I couldn't get the the payment plan I wanted. Around 03:00 hours the next day It dawned on me that the money over the amount I wanted to spend wasn't that big a sum and decided to head to the dealership later that day to get the car I wanted. When I got there Todd, Jeffery and myself got to talking about the money and thats when Todd mentioned that Lincoln may have incentives towards going into a Lincoln MKS. That would mean I might be able to get a better deal on the MKS which is the affluent brother of the SHO. It's also a funny thing because when these two models came out in 2010 I originally wanted the Lincoln but it was way too expensive so I settled on the SHO. Now Bob Carty entered the mix, Bob is the Boss of the whole place and is also from my favorite country other than the USA, England, he's got a cool accent. Anyway between the three of them and only an hour later I was in a 2012 Ruby Red MKS with the Eco-boost engine and the monthly payments I wanted to make, which happens to be the same car I wanted in 2010. From the start these folks treated me well, they took the time to go over all of the possibilities, incentives, discounts, and other cost cutting savings. Oh yeah I also met Andrew, the Sales Manager for the Lincoln half of the dealership and Neil the financial advisor, all of these people were great. Another thing I would like to mention, I noticed while my transaction was being processed that they not only treated me like family but every other customer as well, every customer I saw those couple of day's got a car and it was at least five of them. Did l mention how clean and organized the dealership is, well it is, from top to bottom the place is clean and decorated nicely, both showrooms were comfortable but the Lincoln side was nicer. The staff at Carman were knowledgeable, courteous, friendly, and patient, never once did I or anyone else I had earshot too seem pressured, demeaned or intimidated in any way, quite unlike the "being pushy" reputation that car salesman often have. The staff goes out of their way to make you feel wanted, welcome, appreciated and respected, this is a place that I will be doing business with for a long time to come, "Lord will'in and the creek don't rise" If your looking to take advantage of the "Summer Sale" that Ford/Lincoln is having, make sure you head out to Carman in Delaware, you won't be disappointed, you'll be glad you stopped by and more than likely you'll be driving out with a new car, truck or suv, just like me. i went in carman ford 3 months ago to purchase a mustang gt meet saleman jacob dickhart he was very friendly not at all pushie we talked i gave him my number ,i was not sure if i wanted to buy bmw or mustan gt meet saleman jacob dickhart he was very friendly not at all pushie we talked i gave him my number ,i was not sure if i wanted to buy bmw or mustang so jacob kept in touch and i decided to buy bmw .BIG mistake i hated that car .SO i went back to see jacob again he said will try to locate u a car and between jacob neal and todd they made the deal work they located my mustang went and brought it to dealership .IT took a lot of work from all of them .jacob was very knowledgeable and very professional. He explained all the features the car had twice to make sure i knew all about the car . I would suggest any one looking for a car new or used I HAD GREAT EXPERIENCE with the dealership .Iwould like to thank jacob again for having the patience with me .By the way I love the car . thank u again to Jacob Neal TODD. Jeff met me as I pulled in. Extremely friendly and courteous, he asked me what he could help me with and then stopped to listen to me. I had done my homework. I knew what I wanted and I knew what I was willing to pay. Jeff immediately started to search for my car. As the search began, Jeff also knew it might be a tough find. I wanted the Ford Focus SEL with all of the bells and whistles including fill navigation and winter package. It also had to be metallic gray. Jeff listed several scenarios, not alternatives, but scenarios for how he would get me my car. My husband and I had been waiting a week and a half already from another dealer that promised they could deliver and instead of getting me the car I wanted, we were given some really bad stories to try to explain to us why they didn't get me the car they were promising. It never occurred to Carman Ford that they couldn't get me my car and in fact because of their awesome inter-dealer relationships and negotiating power --they have a large stock with which to trade and deal, I received my car the very next day! It is perfect! Another local dealer, right down the road, couldn't even come close on the price. The time I spent at Carman was comfortable and I really appreciate the friendliness of the staff. Everyone who sees you says hello, shakes your hand and introduces themself. I am a nurse. I work for the leading healthcare provider in DE and service excellence is what is expected of me every day. It was wonderful to feel all of that from the receiving end. The purchase process was seamless and quick. Time was carefully taken where it mattered most, teaching me about my new car. I drove away confident and could not have asked for more courtesy, knowledge, patience, and understanding. One more thing I have to note, there was no pressure to buy, no pressure for extended warranties, joining clubs or purchasing options. There was information about these things readily available and I chose to ask about the protective glass coating that guarantees my paint for seven years and simonizing for the interior. I chose to purchase this -- very little cost for the protection. In summary, this has been my best auto dealership experience --tops my BMW purchase in 2002. P.S. I have owned Ford vehicles -- three trucks to be exact. My Ford trucks have pulled my horses across thirteen states to compete in professional rodeo as well as hauling me off to the polo field for years.. My mistake was a Chevy Pickup during the you pay what we pay era. The Silverado is crap! Jeff and Carman Ford can expect us back for an F250 in the near future. Thank you Jeff and Carman Ford! More

It was a Monday night a half hour before closing time when I called Carman Ford and asked if they had any Ford Focus's in stock. The manager quickly answered how many and told me about the current incent when I called Carman Ford and asked if they had any Ford Focus's in stock. The manager quickly answered how many and told me about the current incentive. I asked if I could stop by and test drive, he said yes. So I test drove and was really impressed with the quality of the car. The salesman drove with us and explained alot of the features, and by the way I really needed someone to explain all of the buttons! My old car was going on 18 years old and one could imagine what I didn't have in that car, but with all due respect, it was a good running car. So Tuesday comes and I still hadn't made a decision, in fact, I went to another dealership. My husband was NOT impressed with those cars, he went back up the road to tell the sales manager where I was. Next thing I know here comes my husband and he picks me up and takes me back to Ford. Everyone at the dealership was super courteous, made me feel 'at home', and very, very patient. Due to my indecisiveness the dealership stayed open late just for me two nights in a row. Finally Wednesday I went back to the dealership for one more look and knew the Focus was for me. It's getting great mileage and they told me I can stop in anytime for any technical assistance on the 'buttons', because there sure are alot! Thank you Carman for your time and I highly recommend your dealership. More
