I had the pleasure of working with Tom Coward for my first service at Smythe Volvo. After damaging a tire 1 month into ownership of a used 2016 XC90, Smythe assessed the damage, ordered a replacement t first service at Smythe Volvo. After damaging a tire 1 month into ownership of a used 2016 XC90, Smythe assessed the damage, ordered a replacement to match my other tires (which are aftermarket tires) without trying to upsell or push their own tires on me. They then installed the new tire, all without any cost to me since I have the Wheel and Tire Protection Plan. No hidden fees or surprises. Tom guided me through the process with compassion, professionalism, and honesty. I spoke with him several times on the phone, and had to come twice to the dealership, and each interaction was pleasant and transparent. I live almost an hour from Smythe Volvo, but my experience buying the car (from Alon Katende, who was great!) was so amazing I figured to give the service department a try as well. I couldn't be happier. I'll be making the long drive every time I need service in the future. I can't say enough about how unique the experience of buying and owning a car from Smythe Volvo has been. Being a family owned dealership trickles down from the owner all the way down, which makes you feel like extended family when you're here. After talking with several employees during my visits there, they all said how happy they are to be working there. It really shows in how they treat their customers. I also noticed how highly they speak about each other. You get a sense of true teamwork. They really broke the mold with this place... a dealership that is honest and genuine. More

Smythe Service Department is the best around.We have Smythe Service Department is the best around. We have purchased three cars from Smythe since 2004. Thanks to the work of the service department two Smythe Service Department is the best around. We have purchased three cars from Smythe since 2004. Thanks to the work of the service department two are still on the road (a tree crushed the third one during Hurricane Sandy). This week I ran into an emergency which left my car not drivable. I spoke to Tom who was able to squeeze me in despite the tight schedule. Within two days I was picking up my fully repaired car. I also had a special need when picking up my car and Tom personally parked my car in a space close to the entrance. Tom has once again made me feel my vehicle is safe to drive. Thanks to Tom and the staff for their friendly, professional, excellent service. More
