I've been with Smythe Volvo since 1991 and have over thirty years experience in the automotive industry. The best part about working at Smythe Volvo is the local business feel of the company. Knowing almost every customer who walks into the shop is a great feeling. My favorite Volvo of all time was the C30. It was a small, fast and super-fun 2 door hatchback with a turbo 5 cylinder engine. When not at Smythe Volvo, you can find me kayaking or fishing somewhere in New Jersey.

As usual I received prompt attention when I called for service on my Volvo S60. Aside from the regular maintenance interval, I had some questions about software upgrades and other small details. It's always good to have your car up to snuff - no matter how small the issue, because that contributes to the feeling of reliability and safety that you chose Volvo for in the first place. The second half of that choice is the service provided to keep you happily rolling. THAT'S what I have come to rely on at Smythe, and that's what continues to be provided. My wife experienced the illumination of a "generator malfunction light" shortly after packing the car for a significant trip. We called Smythe immediately and informed them of the issue. They worked us in within 45 minutes of our call (mid-day!) and had her on her trip in another hour after troubleshooting and updating software. This is the level of service we have come to expect from Smythe and indicative of why we have bought several cars there. More

The Service teaem at Smythe volvo is always friendly, helpful and couteous. They make sure that the car is checked out for all things even if not on the scheduled maintainence or requested. I've been a customer for over ten years. The sales people are friendly but not pushy. They function as a team and are not competitive with each other. They treat you like family. I cannot say enough positive things about my experiences with the team at Smythe Volvo. I just picked up my new car a few days ago & they even make the experience of getting a new car pleasant.
