Great Deal and Great People. I bought a CRV yesterday. From walking in the door with my 2006 Pilot to leaving 3 hours later with a CRV in the colour and trim I wanted was a treat I bought a CRV yesterday. Tom Propersi is the guy you need to deal with when at Valley. He is personable, down to earth, professional and thorough. As people who pay close attention to detail we had a million questions for Tom and he responded to every one of them promptly and accurately. Kurt Gonzalez was also very helpful towards the end of the sale in terms of clearing some things up for us on the finance end. Again, these 2 guys do NOT give you the sense that they are out to make a deal. They truly cared about us as people first in trying to get us the best deal based on our overall situation. More

I was immediately comfortable working with Tom who was more a consultant than sales person. He was very attentive to my purchasing requirements of comfort, utility and most importantly price. We toured Valley Honda's extensive and very professional facility and was introduced to very accommodating management staff members. Very impressive. Unequivocal Excellence. This was my first car purchase and after extensive research, all that remained was choosing a dealership. In this regard, there was simply no question that I was not going to visit Valley Honda. A few colleagues recommended said dealer and after visiting the website (and reading some laudable reviews), I knew I was making the best choice. Although I knew which model of car I wanted (2016 Civic EX) and that I would be visiting this dealership, I began an online correspondence (with great ease) with Nikki Anderson to start my journey. Nikki was prompt, informative, and genuinely kind with all my queries as I waited for inventory of the new model vehicle to arrive. I was kept apprised with leasing information and inventory updates the same day Nikki was informed. Unfortunately I scheduled my test drive on an off day for Nikki, but she was more than accommodating in setting up a time appointment of my choosing and referring me to her colleague and friend, Tom Propersi. On the day of my first visit, as soon as I walked into this fine establishment I was politely greeted by the receptionist who promptly called for Tom and then asked if I wanted any complimentary Starbucks coffee (awesome). Tom soon greeted me and did not waste any time showing me the exact model I previously discussed with Nikki. Though Tom candidly admitted he too was still getting accustomed to the novel Civic model (they arrived only a day prior), he provided an in depth tour and explanation of what made this dramatic update so special. One of the funner moments occurred when Tom was showcasing the handset integration (Car Play and Android Auto) and received a text message from Nikki asking if I made it there and was having a pleasant time. This was just one of the small gestures that made the entire experience worth it. And before I knew it, Tom presented me with my first opportunity to test drive the vehicle. Although I had previously researched the car, there is still no comparison to actually getting hands on time with the machine. Tom knew I was excited and allowed me to enjoy the experience without distracting me with every minutiae of the new model. In fact, he only highlighted aspects I was not privy to and what other customers had experienced within their day to day activity (such as the Econ button and fuel efficiency). Back at the dealership Tom provided me with an elaborate tour of the entire facility, which to my surprise was almost as exciting as my test drive. This place is huge! Tom explained: there is a 42 car service garage that allows Honda owners to come in with no appointment, a lounge area equipped with large cushion chairs, large HD televisions, laptop check out stations (what! haha), a free Starbucks coffee station, and a monitored play area for kids. Tom then made note that when you come here the entire staff truly wants you to relax and feel comfortable (as evidenced by the stress free expressions and individuals actually sleeping in the cushioned chairs). After the fantastic tour, Tom did not even have the opportunity to ask if I was interested in making a purchase as I eagerly stated, "Let's start signing some papers!" Although we had to get into the specifics of my lease, Tom was equally interested in myself, my family, and who I was as a person, not just a sale. He explained his impressive tenure at Valley Honda and how happy he is to come into work each day. While going over the lease policy and numbers, I never felt forced or manipulated into choosing a higher vehicle trim or payments (in fact Tom made note that Honda Sensing while impressive, is not for everyone). Then after committing to what I wanted, Tom spoke to the finance department and came back with all the numbers we previously agreed upon. No hidden charges or nervous moments, a truly transparent and professional transaction. Unfortunately, the dealership did not yet have any inventory of the specific color I wanted, but the wait was only a mere week (trust me, I would have driven off the lot in a new car if it was there). In that waiting period, Tom was just as cordial and prompt as Nikki in regard to email updates and the phone call when my car arrived. I could not wait to revisit this dealership, not only to pickup my new car, but to experience the pleasantries and warmth provided by the entire staff. It was on this visit, and to my delight, Tom got to introduce me to Nikki (who was as caring and polite in person as she was online). Then, Tom once again wasted no time showing me to my new vehicle and explained since I had such an adept knowledge of the car, we would tour a précis version of the manual. Tom also went over other important aspects of becoming a Honda owner, such as, the free Emergency Service and complimentary coupon booklet. Soon after the overview, Tom took me into the financial department to meet with Mario. As with the entirety of my journey, meeting Mario and actually signing my first lease was exciting and utterly enjoyable. After one last tour of some specific car controls, Tom was ready to hand over my new set of keys. But before that, Tom expressed what a gratifying and amicable time he had working with me, and then as the true gentleman that he is, he offered to purchase me an official Honda key-chain accessory (which is made of quality material and one that I am proud to carry). A sophisticated and professional gesture fitting not only Tom, but the entire dealership. Tom became much more than a salesman throughout my experience, he became a friend I can wholly rely upon. My awesome experience at Valley Honda was truly one of kind, and one I am happy to remember every time I get into my car. More
