I would like to express my sincere appreciation to Tommy Farruggio in first place. EVERYTIME, not just once, I mean EVERYTIME, I go to Ferman Chevrolet the outstanding level of professionalism by this gentleman is out of question. Indeed he is taking the extra time to solve any conflict, issue or even making a better deal for you as a customer and as a friend. Not to mention the "BIG" Howard from the service department. He really provided the service I need for my Corvette and took care other little things that I didn't notice while my Stingray was still in service and still charge me the same amount of money for the same regular service. When I go to Ferman, I not just go to do a service on my car or to buy a car, but to visit my friends and thanks them for the outstanding level of service and professionalism. I've always had good/decent service and interaction. Bought my Silverado 1500 brand new in 2015-got the tire warranty and the everything else warranty. Would have recommended this dealership to anyone. Well don't be fooled by their tire warranty. I had the misfortune of running over some roofing nails-literally got nails in every tire. Take it to ferman-they replaced front two tires under the warranty and plugged the back two tires. Well my truck is a rear wheel drive. My back tires didn't have a lot of tread to begin with. So they leave the balder tires on the back, put the new ones up front and a week or so later at 40 mph my truck hydroplaned off 301 into a light pole. Yeah I'm not real happy.

Hi Rachel, First let me start off with that your tire warranty policy is a road hazard warranty and NOT a wear and tear policy. When you were in the dealership on 2/11/17 prior to any issues as far as nails in the tires it was recommended by your service adviser that you should replace all four tire based on tire wear which at that time the vehicle had 41,896.00 miles on that set of tires. You refused to pay for replacing the tires. On 2/20/17 with 42,140 miles just a little over one week later you returned to the dealership with nails in three of your four tires. The two front tires were replaced and covered by your tire warranty policy. The one rear tire (not two rear tires as you mentioned), that had a nail which was repair by patching the tire not plugging as per your warranty company. So on 2/20 the two front tires were replaced and the left rear tire was repaired. It was also noted on your invoice a repaired tire no longer carries the speed rating originally certified by the manufacturer. Then on 3/20/17 at 43,782 miles you returned to the dealership stating you felt a vibration at 70 MPH. At that time the tire balance was checked and also checked the road force on all four tires. Tires were balanced as needed and vehicle was tested within legal speed limits and no vibration was observed. You asked today why we couldn’t just replace the rear two tire. The one rear tire that we repaired as per your warranty policy was repair and the other did not have road damage. So you would have had to pay for the rear two tires which we offered to sell you the tires at cost and no labor to install them if you wanted to replace them which was recommended to you which you once again refused the service to be done to your vehicle. Your warranty policy did exactly what it was supposed to do. It does not pay for 43,782 mile normal wear and tear. BEWARE HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE
Get used to "we can't duplicate the problem so we can't do anything" and "you should call Chevrolet" DO NOT TRUST THEM to buy or service your vehicle.
Get used to "we can't duplicate the problem so we can't do anything" and "you should call Chevrolet" DO NOT TRUST THEM to buy or service your vehicle. They treat you like they are doing you a favor to perform warranty work YOU PAID FOR. I was told today by The General manager (which I had to hunt down and ignored several calls and emails) that I should be happy that they gave me a loaner after 4 trips for the same issue and Basically told me to find a different dealer to service my car. Mind you because the issue happened while I was not there, in their mind it didn't happen and they cant do anything. When you pay the obscene amount for a vehicle that has a warranty is it crazy to expect that it works? Or is it crazy to think that a warranty should mean that when broke it gets fixed? Evidently, Ferman Chevrolet interprets this differently than I. The customer experience manager Tommy tried to help, and I hate that I had to name him here but I can tell when someone agrees with what you are saying but has to hold the line. I guess I am crazy. They have no idea how to communicate or the slightest clue about customer service. Do yourself a favor and drive the extra couple miles to a different place.

Hello Todd, Our goal is 100% guest satisfaction and from your 1 star rating we haven’t achieved that goal with you.
I do believe that the issue you are having do happens while you have the vehicle in your possession. But unfortunate as per General Motors technical assistance, we must have a failure to isolate the problem and by nothing happening while we have vehicle with us makes it very difficult to isolate the problem. It gives us no technical data to direct us or GM Tech on the issue.
I encourage you to contact to GM guest assistance with your issues directly at (800) 222-1020 and state with them your disappointments.
