My car decided to have cascading, serious issues that made it unaffordable to fix vs. the amount I owed. Last minute, Douglas sent Mike Conlow to pick me up (as my car was in the shop) and he and Stacey made it unaffordable to fix vs. the amount I owed. Last minute, Douglas sent Mike Conlow to pick me up (as my car was in the shop) and he and Stacey in Finance were able to get me into a 7 year newer vehicle at the price I needed! A very close friend is the finance manager at another great dealership in Atlanta, Ga. So I am intimately familiar with car buying, and we'll informed on both sides of the process. Douglas Jeep was flawless from the start. David Barth gave me room to roam before greeting me, was not the least bit over aggressive, and at the same time right there with answers and assistance for everything I could come up with. As for negotiating purchase price, again A+. As everyone should, I looked for any possible discount. Let them know I was a veteran from first gulf war. Although a veteran, my service didn't meet the criteria for the discount. Instead of simply being told it couldn't effect price, I received a sincere thank you for my service from both the manager Todd, and my salesman. Class all the way. With very minimal back and forth we quickly reached my educated target figure, which surprised me. Due to finding the right car at the right price a couple weeks before I was really ready, I thought I'd still lose out. Nope! They held the Jeep I wanted with a very fair deposit. Of course my guard was up figuring that they would try to make up for it on the finance side. Again I was pleasantly surprised. My initial payment quoted was higher than I knew my credit should qualify for, so I gave them my fair target #. Tim in finance hit it right on the money first time. Than went above and beyond when I showed interest in a possible extended warranty and got my interest rate reduced further with the bank making it too good of a deal to pass up. Sorry so long a review, but it was as good a car buying experience as you could hope for. It deserved the full report. Update : I just bought my 5th vehicle from Douglas DCJ. I have to say, this dealership is a model of what all dealerships should be. From the personal thanks from Greg the owner, to David Barth (favorite salesman ever) Dave in finance and John Groupe in detail (best team in Fl) I could not be happier with my experience. Highly recommended!! More

Great follow up service on all vehicles! Service personnel are very knowledgeable! Recently had an issue with our Jeep Wrangler that did not resolve with the normal service interventions. Managers and staff were a pleasure to work with. I had a rear differential problem on my 2011 Ram 1500. As it turned out the problem was very difficult to pin point but the managers and technicians s I had a rear differential problem on my 2011 Ram 1500. wiring harness installed in Jeep Cherokee to prevent wobble Originally bought Jeep Cherokee Limited at Gettel Jeep in Punta Gorda with Active Drive II so it could be towed "4-down" behind RV. First visit intmen Originally bought Jeep Cherokee Limited at Gettel Jeep in Punta Gorda with Active Drive II so it could be towed "4-down" behind RV. First visit intmentGettel for service sucked. Service writer was a sarcastic 20-something who hid my Jeep after it was serviced and they never rotated tires. Washed my hands of Gettel and decided to go to Douglas Jeep to have wiring harness installed (which Gettel never told me about that prevents Jeep from "wobbling" back and forth when being towed behind RV). Called and spoke to to make an appointment he was very polite, friendly and professional over the phone. Arrived at Douglas on appointment date and talked to Melissa, Service Advisor, who got me all signed in and Jeep was brought right in to have wiring harness installed. Melissa, like Travis, was very polite, friendly and professional during the entire process. Wiring harness was installed by a technician unknown name) who did a complete, neat and professional job. Based on this experience, Douglas Jeep is my future GO-TO for LOF and Tire Rotations and any other issues that may pop up while I own my 2018 Jeep Cherokee Limited. WOULD RECOMMEND THEM VERY HIGHLY for all your Chrysler product needs. More
