Great service for out of state emergency service I was on my way to Minnesota for a school reunion when my car broke down and needed service. I made it to another Honda dealer in Madison but they we I was on my way to Minnesota for a school reunion when my car broke down and needed service. I made it to another Honda dealer in Madison but they were to busy to squeeze me in on a Friday afternoon. After calling East Towne Honda and them telling me they would squeeze me in either that evening before they closed or first thing in the morning. I managed to get half way there before my car required a tow. I managed to get my car towed there right after the service department closed for the day. The next morning I showed up at the dealership early. They squeezed me in and unfortunately found that my car was going to need a replacement engine. Based on a very long story involving a shady salvage yard and the replacement engine that was already in the car, I believed what they said. They offered to drive me to a car rental place so I could return to Indiana that weekend. Over the next couple of weeks Val Rich kept me informed and up to date on the repair and engine swap. In addition to taking great care of me, they even cut me a little break on the labor rate because of the horrible weekend I had had up to getting my car to Wilde East Town Honda. Fun, knowledgeable employees made process quick & easy! Valerie helped me get my Honda Odyssey in the same day for new tires even though they had a tight schedule. I mentioned that I was considering a trade Valerie helped me get my Honda Odyssey in the same day for new tires even though they had a tight schedule. I mentioned that I was considering a trade, so she recommended I talk to Scott. The next thing I know Phil (who covered for Scott) was helping me & my 4 assistants (ages 9,8,7,5) look at new Odyssey's and crunch numbers. After bags of popcorn, bottles of water & a quick hour passing, my crew voted for the silver Odyssey! I was able to come in the next day solo & go through the paperwork with Brent to make sure that everything fit my family's needs. Scott made the process so easy & his follow-through was amazing! The service area was super clean and was immediately greeted . My service writer (Valerie) was extremely pleasant and appeared very genuine when listening to my issues with the vehicle. The problem was diagnosed very quickly and she explained clearly what my options were. In addition, the service technician also explained some things in more detail to me personally. I was impressed with his honesty in what he suggested for repair to the vehicle. The loaner car was awesome as well! The repair was done in timely fashion and a car wash to boot.
