Traveled 15 hours one way. Told the dealer I wanted to sign paperwork and leave for back home. The car was not ready. It had to go to a body shop for repair. Windshield and dashboard were dirty. This was a CPO car. Not inspected by my calculation. The rear bumper was damaged. They told me to take the car home and get two estimates for repair. Both body shops said the bumper needed to be removed, stripped of paint, repaired, repainted and reinstalled. Dealer balked. In fact it took the Sales Manager 5 business days before he even opens the e-mails with estimates I had sent. Only because I called him. Then he scolded me that he needed two estimates from different shops. They were both sitting in his in box. I love the care paid almost $90,000. It was one of my most terrible car purchase experience. I am 71 so I've had a few. It took three hours at the dealership until I finally was on my way home. I have bought 5 other cars from Lexus dealers in my home town and have never been treated so poorly. More
