From the moment I stepped on the lot Sam and Gary were attentive to what we were looking for in spite of my own feeling that we were not absolutely sure. Throughout the sales process the entire Carl Burger team was extremely helpful in patiently exploring the stock of available inventory and narrowing our search until we found the perfect vehicle. Once we had decided on the right car, the sales process was completed with the highest level of integrity and fairness, from trade-in to new vehicle delivery. Wes Kachi in the finance department was able to answer additional in-depth questions about both the vehicle and the available financing options allowing us to make the most informed decision possible about details of the final vehicle purchase. I would highly recommend the Carl Burger team to anyone who places a premium on integrity in the vehicle purchase process and values the importance of top quality customer service by an informed, friendly and fair sales team. My experience with Sonny was nothing but 5 Stars all around. His ability to work around my insanely busy scheduled to work through the numbers with me was truly a blessing. The fact that he maneuvered his scheduled to cater to mine was something I would have never expected from a car sales person. I have purchased at least a dozen used and new cars in my lifetime, I am really good and keeping them away when I am "just looking," but with Sonny and his team of professionals, that was never an issue with me. I never felt pressured to buy or once felt uneasy about the whole buying experience. He even discreetly backed away a bit when I was rationalizing the purchase to myself with my boyfriend. He probably did not even know that I noticed. That kind of thing is extremely classy and made me feel like I was at home with my decision. After I decided to buy, I got a Hi-Five and congratulations and we were in and out pretty fast. Wes handled the financing aspect of my purchase, and I must admit, his Kool-Aid smile made all the difference. Wes was helpful, yet not pushy, and very informative. I left him knowing everything I needed to know about my car loan and trade-in payoffs etc.. The entire process was so easy I honestly can say it was truly the best car buying experience I have ever had. And I am matching this purchase with a Lexus GX470 purchase back in 2005. Back then I thought the red carpet was rolled out, but Sonny and Wes take the cake. I highly recommend everyone in the market for ANY car that is available to purchase at Carl Burger Dodge/Jeep/Chrysler in La Mesa, to ask for Sonny (and I kind of have a feeling Wes will follow suit with the financing). Usually purchasing a vehicle is an energy draining experience leaving you exhausted at the end of the day hoping you made the right decision with your purchase. Not so with Carl Burger Dodge/Chrysler, This was the fourth car we have purchased in 7 years of living in San Diego and even though Carl Burger is a 45 minute commute from our house, we know that the team here are trustworthy, reliable and committed to giving you the best deal around. We probably drove past 100 dealerships to get to Carl Burger but every-time we make a purchase here we leave completely satisfied. The staff were again so efficient, so friendly, minimized the process as much as possible and greatly reduced our wait time. Barrett was our initial contact and his knowledge of cars, and the deals he had on the yard was impressive. he presented us with several options that suited our budget and even went into bat to find cars outside of our budget that could also possibly work. His promptness to respond to email and phone calls and swiftness to return calls was on par with the highest levels of customer service found in the upper echelon of the corporate world! Gibson closed the deal for us, taking over from Barrett, and what a personable, warm friendly guy. After a short time with him we felt like we had known him as a friend for years, Gibson giving us fantastic information and advice on the best places to hike and vacation in California as a family! this made the paperwork side of the process fly. before we knew it, the paperwork was done and it was off to see Wes in finance. Wes, was presented with our 'deal' and even though we arrived with our finance already in place at 1.98%. Wes felt he may be able to beat what we honestly thought was unbeatable financing, and less than 10 minutes later he presented us with the good news that he could finance us for much lower! we drove out of the dealership with an extraordinary purchase, with an incredibly positive experience, with possibly the best finance deal in San Diego! David stepped in and showed my wife and I a few more trucks and then we found the right one. Came in on Saturday and David, Hugo and Wes made it happen. Bought a truck that was much better suited for me and paid a great price. Thanks! More

This dealership had the exact vehicle I was looking for, gave me a great deal and a better trade in value for my vehicle than the dealerships in my area. I wish there was a 4.5 rating possible. That would be my choice. I'm very happy with the vehicle, the price and ultimately the service. There was an ad run that was confusing at best, likely would pass as "legal", but certainly left me with a mistaken idea of price. After several phone calls, the dealership honored the price. Big bonus points for that! Then there was a mis-communication about an extra we ordered, again, ultimately made right, but it took 2 extra visits to drop off and pick up the vehicle. Finally, one of the keys was lost and was to be replaced. When I went back to get the Jeep after the last drop off. . . . between two departments in the dealership they mis-communicated and I sat about an hour waiting rather than have to leave and come back yet again. So, I got the vehicle I wanted at a great price, everything that was problematic was made right, I just wish the process had been less confusing and had required less trips, especially since we are 20 miles from the dealership. More

Sonny and Wes provided me with the best customer service I have ever come across. They both were very friendly, accomodating, and were not like your typical car dealership employees who were just trying to make a sale. They were aware of my financial situation and they both made sure I got the right car for the right price. During the entire process both men were very professional and polite. I walked out with a brand new dodge challenger for a great price. I will definitely send all of my friends and family their way if anyone ever needs a new car. Thank you Wes and Sonny! More
