They want to steal my money I wish there was a 0 star, this is the worst dealership I been to. I was there 3/09/2020 at night trying to make a deal on a lease for a accord 1.5 af I wish there was a 0 star, this is the worst dealership I been to. I was there 3/09/2020 at night trying to make a deal on a lease for a accord 1.5 after some negotiation we agreed on a payment with $3,000 and a monthly payment of $399, because it was late they convinced me to leave a DEPOSIT of $500 and I was going to go the next day to finish the deal, after I gave the deposit the manager Danny Odoiboye told me to go not the next day but the following because he was going to be off, but he promised to leave everything ready that night for the finance people, so I agreed and left that night. The following morning 3/10/2020 he texted me saying they have to take me off the deal or it was not going to get approve so they wanted to only issue my cosigner, I told him that was not what we agreed so I was not going to proceed with the deal. So I went to another Honda dealer, Garden state Honda to be specific, I got approved there for the lease with a much lower monthly payment that they offered me with less money down, so I bought the car there. I went back to Planet to get my money back the the General Store Manager "President" William Feinstein told me " I hope garden will give you those 500 because we are not giving you anything back" so I told him they do so to that he said " Guess what there's only 1 attorney here and that not you it's me, you should read everything you sign" and I told him I never signed anything he told me to look at the copy of my contract so I told him I was never given one so I requested to see where I signed and said that deposit was non refundable, so he just showed me a contract with my name but no signature on which I showed more money down that what we agreed on and other added fees. I requested to have a copy of that and told him I was going to give it to my attorney he said " you can do what ever you want but you're not getting that money back because you bought somewhere else"..I have proof that I never signed that contract and I will not stop until I get my money back I will advise everyone to stay away from this dealer and if you do deal with them don't leave any deposits or if something happens they will not give it back. More

I came to Planet Honda dealership to buy a new 2020 Honda CR-V EX AWD. I was very disappointed with the service which was provided to me. I had several email and phone conversations with Raven before coming to your dealership. I was given an email quote price of $27,774 (including destination charge) minus $750 discount for owning a 2009 or above vehicle. At the dealership I was given a totally different price and 'on the road' cost. More

100% Scam I want to ask everyone to read and share this review, so that this never happens to anyone again. On 2/16/2019 I attempted to lease a 2019 Honda Civic I want to ask everyone to read and share this review, so that this never happens to anyone again. On 2/16/2019 I attempted to lease a 2019 Honda Civic from Planet Honda. *Full disclosure: I do not have bad credit I have "light credit" Planet Honda had come to me with an offer of $1,000 cash down and $375 a month. I was in dire need of a car and a little desperate so I agreed to the terms even though they seemed high. However, Planet Honda did not have an approval on those terms. So what they did was receipt my deposit and have me sign a "Retail Order" not a contract. A "Retail Order" is NOT a BINDING CONTRACT, but more as a receipt that shows the terms of the agreement. They gave me the car to take home and asked that I came back on 2/20/19 to sign the actual contract. (This is called a temp and recision) So you know a "temp and recision" is what dealers use when they do not have an approval so that they can get you committed to the car and work on your approval. Now part of that agreement is if the dealer can not get you approved you must return the car. (Keep this in mind as this review goes on) In the state of NJ there is no 'Right to Recision" for a customer to cancel a binding loan contract after sign a law contract or lender lease agreement. However, you may cancel or rescind if you never signed either of those. So on 2/19/19 I returned with the Honda Civic to return the vehicle and ask for my deposit to be reimbursed. I was met by my salesperson Alex and the Sales Manager Luis. When I explained that I could not afford the car with insurance and would like to return the car they both went on to: 1.) talk about cheaper insurance 2.) insult my credit (again my scores 650) At this point I left the vehicle and decided to cool off. Of course the salesman Alex followed us and I tried to have a "heart to heart" conversation with him, but what he did was put the keys on the hood of the car and threatened that it was my car and they were going to tow it. With those tactics I was left to cal the police just to make a report that the vehicle was in their lot and make notes that there was absolutely no damage. So now within minutes of leaving I received several messages and emails threatening me to keep my deposit (Illegal), They would be the lien holder (you can not because there is no contact) and take me to court (I am ready). Please review the photos of the unethical tactics they have done. Now on to Mr. Feinstein who represents himself as "General Council" (Lawyer) and/or "Managing Owner". If this is true that Mr. Feinstein is a lawyer/ General Council than he should know that these tactics are unethical and immoral. And if he the is "Managing Owner" then he should not want his customers treated this way. But you know what they say "xxxxxx see, xxxxxx do" hence why his staff started with threatening tactics. Now if you noticed the photos I uploaded one of them was an overnight delivery (as a certifed document). I responded to this letter asking for all documents I signed including what they say is a legal loan contract and/or assignment. Although, they overnighted their threats I asked for these items within 2-3 business days. Today is March 1st, and still nothing. I ask once again that everyone reads, shares on all social media and boycotts not the purchase of Honda, but purchasing from Planet Honda! I will be contacting Honda Financial services, BBB, NJ Car and the New Jersey Bar Association along with all local news and radio stations to open a full investigation on this company. If they have done this to me they are doing this to you and their past customers. Please pass this along, come forward and we might have a class action lawsuit. P.S. I ended up leasing the same exact car from another dealer for $91 less a month and signed my papers within minutes. *Note: They are scammers! More

Lousy Customer Service Avoid this dealership !! Plenty other Honda dealerships all over even the next state over.. They sell a high volume of cars That’s it !!! False promi Avoid this dealership !! Rude obnoxious GM and CEO. They donot care about what happens once you drive off the lot and do-not take care of the customer. Toxic strong chemical (new car smell) making me deathly ill. I brought the car in for service to check and they claim to find nothing mechanical wrong! I was told to contact corporate they didn’t make the car !! You are representation of Honda selling their products. The lack of concern and unwillingness to try and do anything blew my mind!!! I am unable to drive car due to the Smell that will not go away no matter how many days car is aired out. Sorry I didn’t follow my instincts after several red flags ! Do yourself a favor go anywhere else but this place More

Will never buy a car again at this dealership Nightmarish experience buying a new car. Had to walk away after two hours of wasting time. Rampant Disrespect that comes from the top Never before have I been as appalled at a business as I am by Planet Honda in Union, NJ. My employee had gone to return her car and came back crying because of the way she was treated by ROBERT "BOBBY" WINDICH. In order to have the situation addressed and notify management, I called Planet Honda to speak to the president BILL FEINSTEIN. Within minutes it became clear that the disrespect is pervasive and comes from the top. While being screamed at by this man, he proceeded to call my employee a liar, would not allow me to get a word in edgewise and continued on a rant, screaming for a good twenty minutes. I will clearly never enter this establishment and would recommend that others run far away. I hope this is not representative of the larger Honda organization but encourage all potential customers to visit Planet Honda's YELP reviews before going. It is clear from the mass number of negative ratings and customer comments that this is an example of a much larger, ongoing problem and you are truly entering at your own risk. More
